Risking it All (Crossing the Line #1) by Tessa Bailey @mstessabailey

Tessa you blow me away every time. Riskier Business started with Tessa Bailey' s signature bang. I love suspense that grabs me from the first chapter. Tessa never fails to suck me into her stories first, then she captures me with the romance. Bowen got my attention from the previous books and I love me a bad boy knocked on his knees by the love of a feisty heroine. This had all the elements of romance I adore. Suspense that kept me guessing and passion to burn the pages. Most of all I adored this love story for the fact it showed our pasts and circumstances don't show who we are inside. Bowen needed a home and someone to focus his intense brand of love on and Sera was the perfect innocent yet vibrant person to let him fill up with his explosive and passionate and so possessive devotion.

I'm in romance bliss right now. Can't wait for Conner. Heck I just want more period.

Hundred To One (Cedar Tree #2) by Freya Barker @freya_barker

Freya barker has again left me with joy and warmth in my heart. In a world sometimes filled with pain and sadness I adore finding feel good yet riveting romances. With deeply layered yet surprisingly real characters , this series has stolen my heart. Seb was so amazing with a colorful soul to match his tatted body.

The perfect fit to the feisty Arlene , he brought her from strong yet reserved in the love department to a passionate force to be reckoned with. Suspense that had me shivering with goosebumps to passion that kept me warm even after the Kindle was closed this love story simply checked every romance loving box. So many wonderful characters that had me screaming... ooooh Freya write their story too!! I simply just have one word.. MORE!

Beautifully Insightful by K.C. Lynn @AuthorKCLynn

K.C. Lynn has again broken my heart and then put it back together all over again. I seem to always find her books touch something special in my heart. Whether it's her brave heroes from the Men of Honor series.. calling to the Marine mom inside of me to this amazing love story. This story touched me at a very different level. Where I'm at now is so far from where I came from. A girl from the projects .. bullied and put down daily.. I had to learn to fight for everything. To being 16 and a mother.. trying to raise a young man. I learned this world is full of judgement and it was hard to be given a chance to prove who you are on the inside. In Emily and Ryder's story, it's a perfect portrayal of how class and money can corrupt even the people who you should be able to trust.
This was a heartbreaking story that made me feel every emotion. But in true K.C. Lynn fashion she pulled my battered and bruised heart through to the other side. I saw two souls that fell in love overcome so many obstacles and truly find beauty and unconditional love. If we see inside a person.. and not the external packaging.. this world would be something precious indeed. Through Emily we saw how truly a person can fall in love with another from the inside out, from their soul to their skin.
With Ryder we found that no matter what our past looks doesn’t keep us from conquering and creating our own destiny if we just never give up and always believe.
This wouldn't have been a true K. C. piece of art without the most possessive hero that she can give us. Ryder was perfect..amazing and just AWESOME.

There were so many twists and turns that I was kept riveted and in awe. I adore this author for the sheer reason that she always makes me feel so strongly. She keeps her heroes true and her heroines strong enough to deal with all that a KC Lynn hero needs. If you read one book this year..that might just teach you something about how you see the world..this would be that book. KC Lynn is not just an author..she is a writer of EMOTION, BEAUTY and MAGIC. She pen's feelings! They flow right from the pages into your heart. Sheer perfection

Last Hit: Reloaded (Hitman #2.5) by Jessica Clare & Jen Frederick @JenSFred @_JessicaClare

I was so excited when I found out that we’d get more of Nick and Daisy. This series has captivated me like no other. I loved these heroes for the sheer reason that they ADORE their women and are the most protective and possessive that I’ve read. Nick was the most intense hero that I’ve encountered with his background. Daisy was so sheltered and when they fell in love and Last Hit ended, I have to admit that I wondered how they’d make it in the real world when Nick was no longer this paid hit man and Daisy had to get used to the world with all the things she’d never encountered before.

Last Hit Reloaded delved into all of these issues and shined a light on what happens after the HEA. Nick still wanted Daisy 24/7 right by his side and was so very protective of her. He couldn’t put always those hit man urges where everything might be a danger. He truly loved this woman so much he didn't think he'd live without her.

“You are my heart. If I would lose you, then death is the only mercy I would find.”

Daisy struggled with making friends which broke my heart. There was so much passion between these two and what really was uncovered or realized is that their love was so strong that as long as they stood strong together they’d get through anything and I really truly felt like I read a true story of soul mates. Mystery, suspense and amazing love scenes left me feeling some hope and happiness at a time I really needed it.

Riskier Business (Crossing the Line 0.5) by Tessa Bailey @mstessabailey

Oh talk about total excited shivers when I discovered I was getting more dirty talking Troy. I absolutely loved these two. Tessa Bailey is like no other.. she can pack one hell of a punch whether it's a sexy novella or full length novel.

From steam filled encounters to heartbreaking angst and back again, I was gripped tight in the clutches of this intense and amazing continuation of Ruby and Troy's story.

Thrilling and explosive twists and turns had me gasping and sitting up straight with a look of astonishment. Totally Tessa.. that's just how she does it. Lady you rock! Now bring on sexy Bowen.

Ash to Steele by Karen-Anne Stewart @SKarenAnne

This was a book that called to me for months and months. Its cover glowing and haunting me from my Kindle. Sitting there ..saying you bought me..why wont you read me?
Well it’s because I had this feeling it was going to take my heart on this journey of ..hate, lust, love and beauty. I knew it would destroy me but at the same time I also felt it would heal me by the end. I just had to be ready. I needed to be strong as I just has this feeling. From the blurb the epilogue..this book took me and gripped me in it’s clutches.

From the moment Breck Steele was introduced I am not sure that I can even stomach his character.

I've had so many women I can't even remember over half of their names, but none of them are mine; I make damn sure of that. I take what I desire and never look back. I don't need or want anyone, ever...not until I met Emma. Those eyes bore into what's left of my soul and her touch sears me, weakens me. I want to hate her for that. She is my sweetest hell

So even though this is totally not my kind of hero..I had to know..I had to see was he redeemable?

Who I am and all I believe is marred with just one glance into angry, steel blue eyes. He seems to control my air, my ability to breathe. He makes me crave everything I know is a sin. Pure becomes tainted and lines are blurred. It's my fault; I'm the one who isn't strong enough. I've been damaged...broken. Breck's words haunt me...'There's a consequence for every choice you make.'

The moment he lays eyes on sweet and innocent’s like the world as he knows it is over.
It takes some time ..for walls to be torn down and his heart to finally wake up and start beating.

Just in time for me to fall in love with him as he’s falling in love with Emma..

She’s done more than changed me, she has truly consumed my soul

The power in his kiss demands my submission so I surrender,
opening fully to him, returning his passion with a flame of my own.
So much pain, so much anger and so many serets. This is one journey you have to ride till the end to feel the moments of redemption  amongst the pages of beauty to passion and even sorrow and back again.

Breck Steele may not qualify as one of my perfect alpha’s but he’s perfectly broken, truly real  and totally wonderful anyway.
