Traitor (Last to Leave #1) by Nicole Blanchard

Traitor is the first book I've read by this author. I definitely will be reading more. Ford and Peyton had one heck of an intense attraction. From the start they bristled with outward aggressiveness yet inside the passion started burning from day one. Ford had so many demons. His hearts really just in pieces. Then there's the tragedy of Peytons past that would cause most people to just give up. Yet these two came together like puzzle pieces and healed each other with patience, friendship and of course burning passion. This is a suspenseful read and I definitely had moments of terror and fear. Yet this author balanced it really well with humor at times, family connections and heart. I can't wait to see maybe more of Ford and Peyton when Cal gets his hea.

Into the Darkness (Darkness #5) by Katie Reus @katiereus

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29243809-into-the-darkness

Into the darkness immediately sucked me back into this electrifying and extraordinarily vibrant world Katie Reus has created. Paranormal romance at its finest right here. These characters, wow, every single one of them deeply touched my heart. I feel a bit ashamed at how long it took me to come back to this brilliant series. Katie is climbing higher and higher up my perfect hero ladder. Simply saying she writes truly wonderful loyal male leads. These men know at a deeply cellular level that the one woman they need is it. That there's nothing else that will do once they see her. This installment is special due to being two beautiful stories in one. It's fantastic how these love stories were balanced yet over lapped in the right way. Rhea and Conall just totally swept me away in the best romance wave. Their friendship grew and changed yet in a way that felt so real. The fact Conall would have given up everything just to be with her it truly showed his love and his devotion. Rhea was a super strong heroine, emotionally and physically. She kicked butt for real. Conall was thrilled by and adored her strength.

Liberty and Rory were just as romantic on a much more sweeter level. Rory was the sweetest and most protective mate. He's absolutely in love with Liberty from the start and just adores her. He is so in tune with what she needs and is the most patient hero I've read in a while.

The cameos of all our previous couples were just lovely. There's no person that sits in the shadows. All these characters seem so real and fit in like puzzle pieces.
I felt every type of emotion here. The perfect balance of romance, passion and action. I will not wait so long for the next one. That's a fact.

An Inconvenient Dare by Bethany Lopez @BethanyLopez2

This was a really smooth and sexy and definitely satisfying little read. I am not familiar with this "Dare to Love" world that this book is connected to. I'll definitely look into more in this series. This story hit all my buttons all the way. Our heroine Vanessa is business minded and extremely focused on that. She's pretty much pushed romance and all that it entails on a back shelf. Her friend Ella (Plz write her with Carlos) is pushing her to live a little. Pick up a hot guy and have fun. Well dares are never turned down and this is how Enrique finds the woman he's been looking for and never knew it.

I adored how this big, powerful man let Vanessa start with the control. I really felt the pleasure he got from making her happy. When the aftermath comes and they realize their romance is almost doomed I decided Enrique was my perfect kind of hero when he wouldn't let anything stop him from claiming Vanessa. Sweet heat, dirty talk, sizzling chemistry. This is everything I found here. Vanessa and Enrique were perfect for each other. When the angst came and it was expected I loved Enrique showing with actions and words that Vanessa was truly his "Mi Cielo" (His Heaven).

Tag (House of Payne #7) by Stacy Gail

Tag and Ivy absolutely filled my heart with all the emotions of a good love story. I really love the enemies to lovers stories that don't drag their feet. Tag knew what he wanted and that's final. Ivy never stood a chance. It's ironic that Tag needed to tame Ivy yet like her name he could guide her but never truly stop her from growing and spreading her beauty.

He'd never do anything to hinder her from living and feeling life to its fullest. I loved the cameos and additions of previous characters. I never grow tired of visiting The House. These people welcome you in and never let you go. Truly a family.
Tag was the epitome of amazing hero. His entire heart was focused on Ivy's happiness. His soul fed on her joy. This would not be a Stacy Gail book if we didn't have a dirty talking alpha and Tag took that assignment and ran with it.

You have so many layers of love, laughter, healing and heart in this installment. There's just nothing but the best amongst the pages.
