Salvatore (In Too Far #1) by Cecy Robson @CecyRobson

I couldn't put this book down. Salvatore had that anti hero thing going on with just enough good guy peeking through that I simply was hooked right from the start. Giving up everything to save his brothers and getting trapped into a job that was as dangerous as lucrative at the same time was more than hard. From the first moment Sal laid eyes on Adrianna he knew she was different. She was his game changer. The playboy who never felt anything for any other woman felt everything and needed her like air. So many times I was afraid he'd break my heart with hers yet he didn't. Yes it was so irritating having the Donnie situation yet Sal never felt anything except brother type feelings for her. This author kept Sal totally faithful even when he was easily in situations that could have caused issues. He fell so hard for Aedry and he showed it with his loyalty.

I loved Aedry and how she poured her heart into her counseling kids. Sal's brothers thrived with her showering them with compassion and understanding. This book had highs, lows and definitely some suspense. Blood , violence and so many lies. Yet the way this played out showed everything Sal did, he did for the love of his brothers and most of all for Adriana.
Loved this so much.

The Hookup by Kristen Ashley @KristenAshley68

503 days..
That's how long it's been since I've immersed myself in Kristen Ashley's world. I don't know why I waited. I think I have a clue but to admit it would probably make me sound certifiable. Let's just say.. Sometimes you have this cake, it's so good. It's so sweet and it's just so decadent. You kinda want to savor it.. Save it.. Well for some reason KA takes me almost too far out of real life. Like I literally lose myself.. I enjoy her stories probably more than any other.. And I simply find myself lost when they're finished. It's the worst kind of book depression. So I guess I have to limit myself. Kinda like when we space out those decadent deserts..

Eliza and Johhny were exactly what I needed.

I know how it feels to love hard. Be hurt and then find love again. You can't compare love. It's like apples and oranges. I mean yea it's the same emotion.. Technically.. But the layers,  ingredients, tastes and in the end the savoring of it  is totally different. Each love is meant for the time it lasts.. Some hurt but they teach us lessons.. Johhny had a lesson that hurt and then he got the entire world as his forever and that one lesson he'd gladly go thru the pain of his past to find his future. . His Eliza was his peace. His happy. His reason.
Together they were life and forever.
As usual Kristen wrote depth, purity, simplicity yet each word.. Meant something. It had kick, it had resonance and in the end it marked me.
Savor.. Thats what I do. I savor this authors words.

One Percent of You by Michelle Gross @AuthorMichelleG

 Amazing Love Story.

Oh this book hit me in the feels big time! 💞 I am a big sucker for big old mean, grumpy heroes who slowly melt for their women. But if they first fall for a child, well that simply causes my ovaries to explode. This man, of this amazing man. Elijah just really stole my heart. But really if I have a strong and realistic heroine too, well it's reading bliss. Hadley was the kind of mom who you'd think was older than her years. This was simply because she lived and loved solely for her kids.

She dreamed big but in every dream she wanted what's best for her babies. To read a story where a young mother worked, went to school and did everything she could to be there for her kids. That's just refreshing. Enter Elijah. This man wasn't one who'd normally deal well with kids. He and Lucy hit it off on the wrong note. It was hilarious to see them bicker. Slowly she knocked his walls down. Slowly he saw Hadley as the perfect in a world of chaos.

He simply couldn't stop thinking of the next moment, day, hour he could be in their presence. This was a romance, a really well written love story with all the steps.. All the feelings. In the right time it even had the best passion.

I simply find myself today on a reading cloud 9.

Fire by Sarah Curtis

It's been quite some time since I was honestly sucked into a romance where I simply didn't want to leave. Busy life means not a lot of reading time. But when a book grabs my attention and I can't stop thinking of it, wanting a few minutes here and there to immerse myself into the developing love story, well that's a sure sign it's a definite winner.

Blake Stone claimed a rung on my top favorite heroes ladder. He's the kind of ott alpha that makes my heart flutter and gives me feelings like I might need therapy over swooning due to things he does that are borderline crazy yet so freaking hot.

Gwen had no defense when it came to his claiming. There was no way that she could arm her heart.

He simply knocked down every wall.
Blake's past would scar anyone. To overcome and thrive showed his steel underneath his scars.

I loved this book so very much. There's hardly words I can say in thanks for Sarah breaking my streak of boredom.
