I've always had a weakness for bad boy mma fighters. this was another winner in the greatness of Remy by Katy Evans and The Hurricane by R. J. Prescott. Josh "The Jackhammer" was just amazing, he was a true and breathtaking hero. But this story had a very strong and courageous heroine to stand beside this fighting machine. Running from a past layered in abuse and danger she was hiding and living one day at a time.    From the start they had sizzling chemistry but held strong as long as they could being in a precarious business arrangement. Josh wouldn't have minded but Sophie was trying to be strong and remain professional. Her thoughts..not so much.   When something this deep is born though, you can't fight for long.    One sexy bet and Sophie didn't stand against this bad boys charm.    One night ..surrendered to passion and oh how things got complicated. !!    Sophie tried to put the breaks on but even without the sexy times, Josh was romancing her and winning her heart like a true fighter can. Slow build..knocking down walls and really building something profound..Josh was wonderful.   I loved how they really grew into a beautiful friendship though and how much Josh helped Sophie gain empowerment and self confidence through training with him. they really got to know each other in all the ways they could with her history and secrets hanging over her head. There were so many emotional moments that I just found myself sighing over them so many times. The sweetest thing was Josh and her daughter Charlie.. nothing like a big strong man brought to his knees by a little girl. this book was sexy ...but it was a deep under the skin sexy ..that built up to love scenes that felt like they had been simmering slowly to a rolling boil.    Needless to say I loved this story with everything in me. I'm anxiously diving into Josh's  brothers books in the True North series by this author, while i count the days till the next in this series comes out.

The 27 Club by Kim Karr @authorkimkarr

27 Club had me intrigued by the synopsis and since Kim Karr created one my favorite heroes River in Connected & Torn I was more than ready. She again stole my heart with Jagger and Xander. So going in I had high hopes for this story. I found mystery from the start then some pretty sad and emotional moments. Kim gives the reader true glimpses into the heart and soul where our feelings really are born. Zoey was a deeply troubled girl and throwing her into this storm of sadness added to that emotional overload.. and she was drowning. Nate was intense, brooding and well sexy. From their first interaction .. there was enough electricity to zap Zoey into feelings that pulled her from the abyss and had her trying to stay afloat feeling for once that her destiny didn't have to be so dark. These two dove into a summer affair that was sexy, romantic and passionate.      Nate was able to show Zoey what it meant to be adored, wanted and cared for and at the same time Zoey gave Nate an outlet for his intensity that brought them closer while climbing higher and higher in beautiful ecstasy ..at the same time falling head over heels in love. Angst and insecurities caused some bumps but Kim brought it all together just how it needed to be. I enjoyed this mysterious romance and will eagerly await the next hero..because I just love her mind.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.. Rochelle Paige has quickly climbed to the the top of my favorite authors who write heroes that I adore and stories that steal my heart. I knew from the moment that Andrew saw Jocy (Jocelyn to him) that he was gonna be a favorite book boyfriend. For the guy who really never had a relationship and always just had fun,  this time it was different. He wanted her from the first site and was so upset she was "taken".    But not all is as it seems. One Fake bachelorette party started a passionate and heart felt journey that was fast paced but never lacking in the emotional growth. I felt that these two may have quickly given into the scorching chemistry but really did get to know each other in the most romantic ways. Andrew pulled out all the stops sweeping Jocy off her feet. I loved seeing the characters from the Blythe series and really enjoyed how low drama this read was. No aggravating misunderstandings or over the top angst. Just two amazing characters falling head over heels in love and some pretty sizzling hot ..slightly kinky..love scenes.    Andrew knew just what he wanted and Jocy felt free giving him that control. Sweet encounters and shocking surprises ..with one amazing epilogue and I was so happy..but alas..every time I close the book on a Rochelle Paige love story..I'm left singing.

OK so my heart is beating out if my chest. I have swooning romantic tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat. Nalini Singh is totally one amazing perfect hero creator. I've read 2 PNR books of hers and now all 3 books in this series and every single solitary time she's given me amazingly intense. . beautiful sexy dominant heroes who are totally devoted to their women. Gabriel Bishop. . wow like fine wine he settles warm in my tummy. Like a warm blanket in the dead cold of winter this hero not only melted my heart. ... he caused it to simmer then boil. Sweet bossy romantic sexy.. erotic. . passionate protective loyal and just plain wonderful. If you haven't gotten my point.. hes completely perfect alpha approved.     This story had healing and was so emotional. For every scar on Charlotte's heart.. Gabriele had the healing balm of a devoted and true touch and everything about this amazing hero captured not only my attention but kept me flipping pages like crazy. This book right here is the perfect example of why I ever started reading romance. A hero who adores. .protects..seduces...romances..and cherishes the heroine from day freaking ONE. I'm so addicted to this read that I did not sleep. Gabriel Bishop has risen to the very top of the perfect hero list. OMG! !!!"

Another sexy funny and emotional romance from my new favorite Lani Lynn Vale. This girl can write. I am so addicted to these characters. I feel like I know these people. Kettle was so full of life..energy. ..just so freaking vibrant. I loved Adeline for him. Kettle was like a force of nature with how he could be the calm of the storm then erupt like a Volcano. Adeline was the perfect balance to his overwhelming electric personality. I really adored these two. But more than that I loved the way Lani built a family for ever character in this bunch of bikers, firefighters and paramedics. There was a lot of suspense which kept me guessing. Heart breaking secrets of the past.. I was devastated over things that Kettle suffered through. A love so deep and strong rose from the ashes of his heart to burn bright and forever.. Adeline gave him back his hope. Lani.. I'm truly so happy to have found your amazing imagination. E

Wonderful, fantastic, amazing..these are the adjectives that are floating around in my head. I loved every single solitary thing about this book. From the intense and captivating suspense, to the amazing and wonderfully refreshing love story. I was in a white knuckle grip of my kindle. I didn't want to stop reading and I was really sad when it ended. NOT because anything was missing but because ..I had to say goodbye to it. I am in love and I want more now. View all my reviews
