I Like Big Dragons and I Cannot Lie (The Dragon #1) by Lani Lynn Vale @LaniLynnVale

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/30220652-i-like-big-dragons-and-i-cannot-lie

This was a good start to Lani's debut Paranormal series. The characters were immediately captivating. I enjoyed the family ties and the explosive action. When a story keeps me on the edge of my seat with suspense and thrilling adventure, I'm definitely satisfied. I didn't find this very romantic until late in the book. Because Lani did a great job building up this magical yet modern world I still enjoyed it just for those reasons alone. My favorite parts where the small dragons. I also loved how the characters could share power. Blythe and Keifer grew on me as the story progressed. I felt by the end their feelings had started to really be portrayed in a emotional way. I really enjoy when a couple spend time together and you actually feel "why" they fall in love. I'm hoping the next installment has more of a couple centered love story. I still enjoyed the start of what looks to be a sexy, magical and adventurous series.

Finding Snow (Fairytale Shifter, #4) by Alexa Riley @_AlexaRiley

Finding Snow (6).jpg

Another sweet sexy perfect hero shifter romance that heated up my afternoon and kept me smiling. There is nothing like a possessive hero who knows what he wants and doesn't back down for anyone.

I’m taking my mate home, and she will get used to it.
Paranormal romances seem to have this trait but Alexa Riley takes that to a whole different dimension. Koda was pure alpha with a softy warm center.

I adored this gentle giant and Snow fit him perfectly. Sweet safe read and absolutely perfect.

The Bird and the Sword by Amy Harmon @aharmon_author

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29008738-the-bird-and-the-sword

We are taught at a young age that there is power in the word . . Healing, pain and grace all in the words from our lips . We can condemn, we can forgive. We can praise and we can destroy.

All with letters strung together.. Forming powerful weapons that can harm and extraordinary tools that can heal the deepest wounds on the soul.

Imagine no words.. The very thing we need to communicate taken from you. But more than that it's forbidden. For your own safety and those around you.

Swallow, daughter, pull them in, those words that sit upon your lips. Lock them deep inside your soul, hide them ‘til they’ve time to grow. Close your mouth upon the power, curse not, cure not, ‘til the hour. You won’t speak and you won’t tell, you won’t call on heaven or hell. You will learn and you will thrive. Silence, daughter. Stay alive.
*The Bird and The Sword by Amy Harmon*

Lark started life in a troubling time where the gifted were condemned and her mother struck down for that reason.
We follow Lark on a journey into not only her destiny but a road that brought great change to the world. That fateful day that Lark lost her words.. She met a boy. Tiras, destined to one day rule.  Little did she know that some words lived on. Grew and changed and effected their lives in inexplicable ways.
That's all of the plot I'll give away. I don't think it would do any reader justice to know anything else beforehand because this story is just too beautiful and too terrifyingly intense to not go in blindly.
You'll experience some things I do want you prepared for. Friendships that Transcend blood, time, and circumstances. Evil that will break your heart.
This was a love story that will permanently mark that same heart forever.

Tiras and Lark are what romance is really meant to be.

A love story that isn't perfect, but broken into pieces that one day find their way back into something more..
Passion like this is something I long for in my stories and that is why Amy Harmon is always going to be my #1AutoReadAuthor.

Amy Harmon creates tales that weave
everything good ,
everything pure
 and all things that are
love in its purest form.
To get to that level you'll fight with amazing characters through challenges that will shake your very own foundation but she'll always give you a sweet place to land.

The Keeper (Crossing Realms #1) by Rebecca Neely @RebeccaNeely1

Rebecca Neely created a vibrant, mysterious and magical world in the first Crossing Realms installment. We meet Libby a shy and anxiety ridden sad woman who is barely existing in a boring, stressful and unfulfilled job and life. Grieving her dads passing she's just living one day to the next. A crazy occurrence on an ordinary day changed Libbie's life when Nick shows up in all of his mysterious swagger and dark attitude. The connection between the two was soul deep and felt by this reader immediately. The suspenseful and magical world building was intense and layered with so many elements. Keepers, Watchers, Betrayers. So many levels of good and evil. This wasn't just a romance it had a family vibe and a very action packed plot. Nick and Libbie's story was passionate and healing and I really enjoyed the ups and downs. Nick was so amazing, never holding back when the time came to lay out his feelings. Nothing like a hero dreaming about claiming his woman forever and planning babies.
Total swoon alert.

I can't wait to see what the next installment will bring in this powerful, romantic and magical series.

Bear the Burden: (McMahon Clan # 3 & Fated Mates Book 6) by Rochelle Paige @RochellePaige1

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28529251-bear-the-burden

Rochelle is my go to girl for satisfying sexy stories. Heroes and heroines who don't fight their feelings from very little to none at all.

These too embraced their mating with full and open hearts. They let fate and love smother any and all prejudice.

Camden was not only sexy and protective, he was kind and loyal. I loved that Selene was picked for him.

She's so sassy yet so loving. I adored this passionate and exciting story not only for the sweetest union but for all the familial ties and friendships that were joined.

I am eagerly begging and pleading

for Damian's story. This powerful and mysterious dragon shifter has me completely mesmerized. I want him NOW.

I want one couple to hold out sexually for they know their mate is out there and no one else will do. Please let Damian be that one. After all with magic they could be mysteriously meeting in their dreams for years before finding each other. . Ok back on track.

Rochelle seems to send my mind off into her sexy, suspenseful magical world sometimes. I just find myself yearning for more...every single story.

I am so excited to get Carrick's story too. After all I always believed that his ex was actually not his mate but maybe an evil twin. .. Who knows. Can't wait for more Rochelle..
 Keep the goodness coming lady.
