Pulling Her Trigger (Ghost Riders MC #1) by Alexa Riley @_AlexaRiley

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25714478-pulling-her-trigger

Hands down, all the way, freaking sexy, hot, refreshing and unique take on the MC trope.

Heroine :
MacKenzie "Casper" Straight. Sergeant at arms for the Ghost Riders MC
Sniper for the airforce. Total bad ass is what I'm saying

Hero: Vincent Cassano Federal Agent.
Big, sexy, intensely possessive Italian alpha male.

He was what she needed and she was totally made for him. I was sucked in from page one.
She is mine, she just doesn’t know it yet.

Sparks flew from the start and I was blushing with the hottest scenes ever.

How could a man’s eyes look pleading, but also like a predator watching his prey?

He marked her like a caveman and I adored every "Mine" he threw out there. She wasn't some shrinking virgin or that innocent girl who never had an orgasm before the hero. No she took what she wanted and got exactly what she was after. Only this time Vincent was playing for keeps and he was just amazing.

Alexa Riley is a freaking magician at writing the sexiest scenes and she's my girl for giving me loyal OTT heroes. No other women drama in her books. No these guys fall hard unapologetic in a their claiming.

Gimme more is the mantra going through my head on an endless loop. Keep cranking them out lady.

Lucky (Inked Menace MC #1) by Ryanne Hawk @RyanneHawk

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25491849-lucky

I loved a lot about this combination shifter/MC read. There was suspense and magic and of course some sexy "mate attraction" moments of goodness.

I liked both the hero and heroine for the most part. I did have a few moments of what?

In smaller or let's say shorter books you tend to notice details a lot more because those details are closer together , the information in a more condensed manner, being that it's a shorter story. I'm usually one that can miss discrepancies but because there were some in this book that were very closely related to some of my hot button issues regarding my characters personality traits, I couldn't help but notice them big time.

First of all Lucky is remembering a sad time in his life.. And he has just gotten very physically close to the heroine. He has a thought about the fact "he hasn't touched a woman in 3 yrs" since that very sad time in his life. But a chapter or less later.. Its mentioned in his thoughts that he had a one night stand right after that tragedy. That hurt my heart because I was so happy to had found a celibate hero.. But I let this go because it was one time and maybe the author didn't realize she portrayed those two moments so differently. OK, then the heroine had a very abusive ex husband. But later in the book things came about that made her situation not make as much sense. There were some things that just didn't add up. Being that her secrets came out and it changed her personality traits HUGE..then she'd not have suffered what she did for as long as she did. Simple as that.

Rating this book on the Romance.. Or chemistry gives it a high 4 stars but those mixed parts I was confused about kept it at 3.5 for me. I would still read more from this author if.. She keeps her hero all about the heroine and that's another reason I felt quite a bit of enjoyment while reading this sexy story, for the hero was really over the top crazy for her.

Once Loved (Shattered Past #2) by Cecy Robson @cecyrobson

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/22890017-once-loved

By chapter three of this book I was completely mesmerized
by the side plot of Lety and her employment family . This is big for me since the romance is always what grabs me. Not this time. I fell in love with this book because of the emotions it brought out in my heart right from the start and it had nothing to do with the main couple. Lety's employment taking care of a family with a disabled father and son ..broke my heart and at the same time put it back together again. The broken man trapped by his paralysis and the wife and mom afraid to touch her child. Then the sweet eight year old boy caught inside the mind of one half his age. Total tears people! The way Lety reacted to these circumstances was graceful with empathy and sheer humanity of the purest form. Cecy blew me away in one chapter and the love story hadn't even really began yet. Brody an Lety both tried getting over each other in the year they were apart and failed miserably. There were no described scenes in their separation so I didn't have that "other woman or other man" angst in my face. The year is behind them and they are drawn together again emotions
ran high right away. Lety was fighting it thinking he deserved better but Brody wasn't giving up. I love a hero that won't back down!!

After slowly revealing background surprises, twists that had my jaw dropping, I was quickly and completely sucked in. Brody was by far one amazing hero. The patient way he loved Lety filled my heart with swooning moments. Sweet and sexy their love story transcended just two people. Together they helped heal an entire family and also break the cycle of endless nightmares in another. To see Teo and Evie was beautiful. I had so many moments of bittersweet tears. Cecy has really wrote such life like characters that I just feel like I was part of their group.. On the sidelines feeling like family. Absolutely loved every moment. So ready for Sofia and Killian.

Once Perfect (Shattered Past #1)

Racing the Alpha (Dirt Track Dogs #1) by P. Jameson

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25412252-racing-the-alpha

Full 5 stars for one sexy, sweet and fulfilling novella. Drake was perfect.. First of all he was celibate then turns out a virgin. But he was so intense and protective. There were some sweet dialogue that showed true devotion for his mate. When I can dive into a read and devour it feeling all warm and good things I know I have found something special. I'll be looking at the author hard.

Highway Don't Care (Freebirds, #2) by Lani Lynn Vale

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/22029000-highway-don-t-care

I really can't get enough of the way Lani writes. This was her second book and I loved it as much as any of her new ones. The things I think that I adore about her love stories is you don't have to wait for her couples to get together at the very end.

Gabe and Ember had been dancing around their attraction for a while. I loved that Gabe stopped having any other dates or women for months because all he thought of was Ember. I love how loyal Lani's heroes are. Then I normally can't stand crazy exes and especially when they have the "surprise child" but in this case it worked and I loved it. There wasn't any "I want him back" drama. It was all just one crazy as hell woman and I cried with all she did to that baby girl. I loved Ember's loud and crazy personality. I really can't say how much I love books where the author doesn't add all of the relationship angst to "prop" the book up when you can have an amazing love story with a couple falling in love and supporting each other. The relationships that Lani creates with all the secondary characters just keeps me wanting more. I really just love this Author.
Auto read for sure.  "Nic" Safe always.
