Dangerous Witness (Redemption Harbor #3) by Katie Reus

Brooks and Darcy were a fantastic addition to this suspenseful and passionate series. Katie has a knack for balancing emotional romance with edge of your seat action and mystery. In the last installment she gave us just enough info about Darcy and Brooks being on the outs and exactly how he found out what an idiot he was. This story picked up right after and Brooks is out to reclaim Darcy's heart. I love a hero who knows what he wants and also when he's wrong. But most of all I'll scream it from the  romance book loving  rooftops that a man who's loyal and waits for his woman is a real man. Pure devotion and lay your life down loyalty. That's what you'll find here in this fantastic series.  That isn't just the loyalty of our hero and heroine either. This team at Redemption Harbor is a brotherhood who is always there for each other. I simply can't get enough. And now I've gotta find more reading time so I can start binging Ms Reus other books. They are just that good.

Paths (The Killers #2) by Brynne Asher

Grady had me wanting his story like crazy in Vines,  book 1 of this amazing series.  I have a soft spot for damaged heroes who need the love of a good woman and a place to call home.       Then add to this my other favorite element,  a heroine running from her past needing a hero. While there is a delicate balance between needing the love of a good man and at the same time being strong enough to survive and make it on your own , Brynne made it look simple.     Maya immediately showed mystery and strength.  No damsel shaking and weak  kneed.  She exuded confidence and just plain smarts.  She's super funny at times too.    I love the medical field as it's my life's work so the addition of that side of the story really spoke to my heart.  I work closely with an assisted living facility and these people become close like family to those care takers in their lives. This includes medical professionals who take care of them.  I have to say I laughed so hard and was just so entertained with all of the characters.     Grady proved all my thoughts correct.  He was strong, loyal  faithful and brave. His past shaped him into something fierce and protective but he was already an amazing brother and guardian from the start.       Maya came into his life at a critical time not only for him but for herself.    Everything I love and everything I need in my romance was found in the pages of this epic read.   Seriously Grady and Maya are simply my kind of love story.   Now I'm back to being greedy wanting Asa NOW.   #PerfectHero #AutoReadAuthor #Safe Amazon

I love going into an Alexa Riley book that I'll have just what I want. This one really kept a smile on my face. It started when Ty took the keys and I knew I'd have an alpha who wasn't asking and would steal my heart.    Mary Jane was just the right type of meek and sweet that Ty needed to balance his bossiness. This sexy sweet read was a perfect read for a rainy night.    I didn't want it to end but that's usual for this author. I can already see some amazing things for these characters. Perfect Rage (Unyielding #3) by Nashoda Rose @nashodarose

I have loved this authors work with all of my heart since I read With You and Torn From You in one sitting a couple years ago. From that moment I've eagerly awaited more from these characters. She made my wait easier by spinning off into different series but keeping her world connected. Each visit into a new story is like surfing the tallest most baddest wave or jumping off the highest cliff. Each extraordinary story takes you so high and you'll find crashing can be painful but without the pain and the broken pieces you'd not find the other side of whole and healed.  Connor was always, always the man I wanted to know. To find this amazing hero, this brother to Georgie and brother to his men. He was built up so high in my mind I was afraid he'd never live up to my imagination. But not only did he surpass them but he captured my heart like no other hero of Nashoda has created yet. I think its fitting since his story really grew so deep and had so many layers.  I loved that Alina was someone who got to see the true Connor before Vault. He needed a person that would love him before, during and after all of his pieces were whole again.. Just cracked a little but oh so amazing.  From their numbers to their passion this couple defined limitless love just like this Author portrayed.    Connor was truly loyal and absolutely faithful in a way that you can hardly find anymore.  Those that search high and low for #SafeRead romance will simply adore him.  Spanning over a decade this love wouldn't be beaten. These two would fight for their beauty, for their life and for themselves.  “What I feel for her is limitless. There is no end to the love I have for her.” Truly an epic love story. As always there were secondary characters that added much needed balance for family support, humor and suspenseful moments. The relationship with Georgie and Connor always just seemed like the best example of sibling loyalty and love.     I closed my eyes and embraced my sister for the first time in over a decade. It was as if someone jammed a piece of me back in place as I held her. It was soiled and ripped, but the piece was my little sister. The bonds in this cast of character were stretched far and wide but never broken. These people seem so real to me and I almost feel sad when each story ends.   On one final note...  I will forever remember an animal stole the show.  Rocket the goat..
