I simply would not have been able to put it down so being trapped in this car was perfect timing. Ry was the epitome of what I love about an alpha. Bossy , possessive and loyal. Being so much older than Celia she was a cute fantasy in a guilty way until that drunken birthday and all bets were off. Oh Lauren you slay me with your sexy banter, adorable characters and beautiful love stories. Every time I begin I feel this subtle shift in my heart like I'm visiting with a friend. I know I'll be swept away with blazing passion, giggling softly or laughing out loud from the quirky humor, or swooning with all the feels.. That's romance folks and that's what you'll get in The Knocked up plan.  < This hero.. He's everything. Ryder.. Even his name is just perfect. This is why Nicole our heroine picks his swimmers as her baby batter.  He's a good guy through and through. But with a counter offer things get hotter than hot and closer than close. These two can't fight that feeling and fall so hard.  I recommend this read for anyone who needs a refreshing tale about love at its beginning, friendship and all the ups and downs of adding in agreements and a baby.. You'll be smiling and swooning the entire time.  Most epic scene awaits.. Go dive in..

This author just gets me. Just reaches right into my romantic heart and gives me characters I adore and stories that settle inside my soul.    Here you'll find a couple who shared a love that grew from innocent friendship to blazing forever love all due to a mishap opportunity of peaking through a skylight. Max always knew Rosie was special in a way he'd never let her go.. But to fall head over heels for his best friend after so many years of shaking off inappropriate thoughts.  Well this shook him up big time. Rosie was a little slower to figure things out but with a hero like Max she didn't stand a chance.  Add in a crotchety old cat that thought she ruled the homestead.  A sweet little diva dog spoiled by an alpha male and ovaries will explode.  This story will definitely make you swoon and smile.  It's just so good #SafeRead #PerfectHero

Worth the Wait (McKinney/Walker, #1) by Claudia Connor @Claudia__Connor

Claudia took my heart for a very emotional ride in this second chance story. I simply lost myself and my heart from pag one.   I have a hard time with second chance romance because usually there is a lot of drama that can make me lose respect for the couple.   This couple had life kick repeatedly and the way they handled it was really as humanly as can be expected.  They both made mistakes, both acted rashly in the past but Claudia have me true depth of remorse, sadness, hope, and faith.  She rebuilt them from the ashes of their past and into something stronger and steady.  I haven't cried for a heroine since Hannah and it's ironic she had such a huge presence in this story.  Mia had so much pain and heartache that I found myself sobbing so many times.  While Nick lost himself in his job and raising his siblings, living in guilt, Mia tried to live and love in the only way she could.  Her nurturing heart was broken again and in a way only a Mother could understand.  She's truly a character who will always be in my heart.  Nick had an uphill battle to reclaim his life, love and family but he claimed it like a true hero.   I'll say that only the separation and small details during it regarding their intimate past and lack of equality were the only negative aspects of this story but even including them added a humanity that made if believable.  Yes we want the fairytale but sometimes adding a few bumps just keeps it real.  Nick wasn't perfect and he knew it.  But his love when he had a second chance was a love that you just knew was worth the wait.  Truly an epic read all the way through.

Close to You (Fusion #2) by Kristen Proby @Handbagjunkie

Cami and Landon were sweet together. I loved Landon's amazing tenderness and devotion towards Cami. These two had quite a few obstacles against them over a decade ago. First being Landon being to old for Cami and then the Navy took him away. Cami marries leaving Landon to believe she's moved on but while she moved on he couldn't find anyone long term. His heart always came back to the one who got away. Cami is free, finally accepting that her marriage wasn't what a real union should be. She's even trying to hook her ex husband up with anyone she can find.  Landon is home , thankfully these two aren't jealous and can let the past remain in the past and they find there forever right in each others arms. Finally where they belong.. Together.     Some funny times along with some super sexy times keep this story moving along and then trials and struggles solidify the strength of their bond is cemented and true. My heart broke with them and healed with them. Really sweet second chance story. Can't wait for more.
