So I finished Connected right?? and this was me!

 

So I freaked out and I said KIM HOW COULD YOU ?????

But unlike a lot of other people I was lucky. I could just pick up Torn and dive right in. 

Lets say the next emotion was this after hearing all the 'half truths and lies' from Ben. 

Give me a freaking break dude...how sleezy can you get to fake a death and act like your some freaking martyr and that you did it for her! Grow the *&(&K up!

 

Take that you lying cheat a$$hole!!

Yea Sorry folks no sympathy here for Ben..NOPE I didn't have moments of "oh poor baby..nope..I wanted to do this! 

            

So Yea get my drift?

Torn pretty much pissed me off in the beginning. But notice I haven't mentioned River yet....savoring River is like savoring sweet chocolate. I just want to keep his name in my mouth a little longer. 

River and Dahlia just completely belonged together and I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that they'd make it to their HEA and I can tell you that Kim has her work cut out for her in trying to redeem Ben later in his book. There were so man sad and heart wrenching moments in this book but when she put the passion on the page...it still Sizzled! 

I loved their dialogue and how they just always seem to express their feelings for each other so beautifully. I still hear River when he says "really" and "beautiful" ..if you haven't guessed by now I am a huge River fan...yum. 

My favorite scene.......

Can I play?? Of course I'd have to ask Dahlia to go fetch a beer and maybe get lost on the way....oh River..sweet River.

This story captivated me from the first page and I was gripping my ereader so strongly when I began..then I relaxed and fell in love with Dahlia and River. Their love was so passionate yet sweet and River is freaking amazing "really"..like my favorite term ever now.."really" ..once you read this you will get what I am saying. I am so honored and thankful that I waited to read Connected and now have the most precious gift of the ARC of Torn..now I can dive right back in. This is a book with a cliffhanger that will make you jump up and cuss!! so Warning!!!


When your small you want to believe in love and happily ever after. Some people are lucky to find love early and grow from friends into lovers. With Ben and Dahlia this love grew over time. There was not a explosive or sudden love but a comfortable safe love.

Then tragically this story is suddenly transformed into heartache. They thought they would be together forever. In one moment of violence Dahlia is left alone. Broken. In pieces.


Time passes ...a Dahlia's broken heart starts to heal...a stranger from a night a long time ago that Dahlia has tried to forget crashes back into her life and awakens things she hasn't felt since she met him hears ago. Nico was a dirty talker and I loved every moment of it.

I loved this story so much and if you love an alpha male who goes after what he wants and a strong heroine who faces her fears to grab hold of a beautiful love then this story is for you. The chemistry between these two burn up the pages and you just hold your breath wanting them make it. Such beautiful moments are still playing inside my head..this is a must read and I'm so honored to have been able to experience it.
