Hard Rules (Dirty Money #1) by Lisa Renee Jones @LisaReneeJones

Hard Rules started this series off with a scorching and passionate beginning. I completely found myself seduced by the characters and completely captivated by the background mystery going on. Lisa created a cast of characters that were unique and filled with vibrant life. I always find myself swept away by my heroes and Shane definitely gave me everything I want in a leading male. He oozed sensual power and he had an aura of authority.    I felt he had that vulnerable layer when dealing with Emily that showed he had a heart within that stone cold facade he portrayed for everyone else.    Emily was shrouded in suspenseful mystery. Her story is barely addressed yet I felt her character was honest..just afraid. So many secrets and so many enemies that no matter where you look someone is there testing their trust.      I was holding onto my kindle with a death grip at the end. I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment because Lisa you have really jerked the rug out from underneath me with that ending. A Lil' Less Broken by Tara Oakes - @Lil_Oakes

This is a second chance lover story and a biker romance too. I loved how the story went back and forth showing us glimpses of what happened to this sweet couple. Jay and Lil are  both pretty stubborn and strong willed people. I found that if they'd have just talked back when they were younger then their lives would have taken a very big turn. When one crazy night throws Julia (Lil) into a crazy situation, she finds herself back in presence of her first love and also at his mercy. I felt these two had amazing chemistry and that their love never died no matter the time and distance they suffered through.      There was one scene that had to be my favorite type of this part of a love story..it was just hot.    His need was my need, and I would see to it that it was completely satisfied or die trying.   Yes some pretty hot scenes in this baby!!!      Quickly things escalate and drama is coming from all sides. Mix in some fiery love scenes and I was pretty much devouring this sexy read.     There were some pretty scary moments and then BAM cliffhanger 911 happens.    I'll be ready for the next one as I need to know what happens right now  Great start to a sexy new series.

I went into this story with a feeling that it would be a sweet and adorable story of first love. Sweet encounters and adorable memories. Well I was right but while I did find a sweet and refreshing love story, I also found a thrilling suspense. This was a story of two people who were total opposites. Nick was the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks and Reverie was the preachers daughter, untouched and pure. So pure she even made a vow to stay that way. “You’re sweet,” she whispers in my ear before she moves away from me. She’s got it all wrong. She’'s the sweet one. The one who fills me with light that chases out the darkness.  Well these two couldn't stay away from each other and what bloomed was a sweet and sexy romance with a lot of sneaking around and exciting stolen moments. Sweet innocent Reverie wanted so badly to experience something exciting and exhilarating. She wanted to FEEL and to do it STRONGLY. Nick was so patient with her and was so sweet.      Now as the story progressed there was some moments where some outside forces made me cover my eyes and think There is no way this will end well!     Yes this couple had so many things going against them and as much as I found myself rooting for them, I kept hearing myself think. Oh this is bad...so very bad. Danger..alert Danger..alert. And then   I can say that shock doesn't cover this!! No ..I'm freaking out..and well    I'm pretty much worn slap out..   So now I sit and watch the clock until the next installment.

Captured Heart by Savanna Grey

Sometimes you need a book that is sweet and refreshing. This story filled my heart with so much tenderness that I cried quite a few times. The beginning was heartbreaking, then the journey of the couple was sensual yet sweet.    These two had to form a instant family with sweet little Liv and I loved how they dealt with her broken heart.     Add in some crazy in your face friends and you have one entertaining yet emotional read. Jack was the quintessential career driven man. Nothing was going to derail him from his road to success.  Life had  a different paved path for Jack and Emma. It was a path that began in such a sad way but there was a purpose and through faith and forgiveness they help heal each other and  I fell in love right along with them.    I'm a sucker for romances involving kids and family and especially friends. This had it all and I haven't stopped thinking about since I closed the book. Classic , sensual romance fans this one is for you.
