Freya Barker has the unique ability to take me far way from my troubles and the craziness of my daily life. She places me in the welcoming arms of the most fabulous characters. These people of Cedar Tree are flawed, quirky and human. So many romances have characters that seem almost inhuman in their perfectness that I can't connect with them at all. After all I'm a woman who has more flaws then most and have lived through some craziness myself. So when I meet people in Freya's novels that have all those human characteristics, I feel like I'm among friends and family. I loved Beth and her emotional outbursts from the first moment she appeared in this series. She didn't mince words and she just felt so real to me. Clint cracked me up with his bumbling crassness. Poor big guy tried so hard to get through Beth's walls but every time he stuck his big foot in his mouth those walls grew higher. Then when this brave and imperfect man was brought low by the evil of the world, Beth showed her true heart. Things were rough for a while for these two lonely souls but the love grew in ways that took my breath away .   What made this story a favorite forever is that they made human mistakes.. They showed grace and forgiveness and the love they shared was real and amazing.   For every bump in the road they had each other's back. They weren't perfect but they had in the end a perfect love. Of course Freya added her unique magic of interweaving previous couples into the story with the addition of whetting appetites for future pairings. So many more people in Cedar Tree need their stories told a.s.a.p. By far this series is one of my favorites ever.   I was addicted to this story from page one and I rode the hills and valleys of highs and lows with tears in my eyes and sweet beauty in my heart. Freya one day I will give you the biggest hug for writing such human stories and bringing me to know characters I feel like I could call friends. Thank you.

Until July (Until Her #1) by Aurora Rose Reynolds - @auroraroseR

Aurora Rose Reynolds is just one lady who I can dive into her books and lose myself for hours. I adore her heroines and for me it's sometimes a sad confession that I simply am so blown away by heroes in my romance ..that the girl well she can fade into the background noise. But not with Aurora, heroines are first of all vibrant with personality and also loyal and brave ..they all have differences but those traits I've listed  just remain the same. She doesn't make weak and wimpy girls ..no they are just women who need that one special man to set things right. Wes was that for July. Was he a perfect alpha? ..Not totally but that is what made me like him all the more. Because of his fowl mouth and his over the top bossiness he just made me want to climb through my kindle. From their first fiery kiss, I knew it was gonna be a wild ride. As with every book Aurora writes, there is going to be some nail biting suspense. Something somewhere is gonna make me grip my kindle and shout NO..and every time she gives me a soft landing and a beautiful HEA. This book was quite a bit on the rough side compared to the "parent's" tales. It had some hot scenes and it had some pretty rough biker language and actions. If you have sensibilities that don't like biker language, along with their environment and they way they speak to women,  this isn't for you but if you can look past these rough boys growling and bossing at the decibel of Volume 10 ..and see that they love with everything in them and protect to their last breath then read on.  I adored the secondary characters (including the amazing 1st Generation Mayson's) ..that's why I say them.. because already I can tell you that there will be more coming and it's gonna be good. Deadly Obsession by Victoria Paige -@vpaigebooks

From the opening scene,  this book sucked me in with a sense of OH my gosh what will happen next? I love suspense, I love sexy times, I really love dirty mouth alpha males who aren't shy about going after what they want. Jake wanted Ella like he had never wanted anything.      From the bottom of his soul to the breath that he breathed he needed her like air. The mystery right away had me trying to figure things out and every single time I was wrong. With Ella it was like an onion being peeled back trying to figure out really what was in her heart and with someone like Jake, thankfully he took the choice out of her hands. She only had to let her mind follow her heart.      Victoria Paige just has this way with the suspense that makes you flip through the pages devouring her reads. But right there in the middle you're falling in love at the same time as the characters. I wanted to figure this book out so bad and at the same time didn't want to finally come to the conclusion because then it would be over. But Victoria didn't let this be a crash landing. NO she wrapped it up perfectly and left me smiling and warm all over. I adored every moment and even though the blurb and the first few chapters would make me think this would cross boundaries I usually run from..it is not like that at all. One amazing love story with characters I just loved from the start ..even when I didn't know if I should like them at all. Passion and electricity that is what kept me riveted and that is what kept me reading. Total post-romantic-read happiness hangover commences  right now. .

Night's With Him by Lauren Blakely @LaurenBlakely3 @InkSlingerPR

This series has quickly become a major favorite of mine. Both the prequel Night’s With Her and the full length novel Night’s with Him was the steamiest installments that I’ve read of Lauren Blakely's to date.  This was 911 call the fire alarm hot.  While the blazing love scenes were fogging up my Kindle, there was a beautiful love story that was slowly simmering. The sexual attraction  that brought this explosive couple together went from simply a physical arrangement  to something that turned into a rolling boil of passion,  emotionally, physically  and erotically beautiful.   Jack and Michelle had me thinking out loud at times. I kept thinking that this isn’t going to work. Michelle, watch your heart! Jack, don’t lead her on! But I couldn’t stop reading. I wanted to believe in Jack and I wanted to root for Michelle. I found that sometimes words aren’t needed if the actions of love are shown in every way (Jack)  ..but that sometimes they are needed especially when you’ve never heard them (Michelle) and also when you’ve never even felt true love to recognize it (Jack again) . So I had to buckle up and hang on for one ride that at times felt like a train about to jump off the tracks. I was really nervous. But...  I trust Lauren because she never lets me down. I knew that somehow some way these characters would wake up and take notice. Michelle by far is my favorite heroine of Lauren’s. She is brave, she is bold and she is 100% honest. She never lied to Jack and she never held back. To her detriment at times I felt like this was going to break her own heart. But Jack, he needed this boldness and this bravery. Michelle was a true heroine and it as refreshing to find a romance that had a strong alpha male but that his leading lady was the one to really save the day. Her love, her honesty and her passion showed Jack ..that nights with her ..could be a life for them. Another winner, another favorite and again I’m left in awe.

Masquerade by Georgia Le Carre - @GeorgiaLeCarre

Georgia Le Carre just blew my freaking head off.  Like over the top,   take me for a ride..right to the edge of my boundaries going to push me off a cliff and yanked me back blew my mother freaking head off. I am so in love with this lady. She doesn’t have a clue how bad I’m crushing right now. When my girl Cariad told me about The Billionaire Banker Series and I discovered Blake Barrington. I decided he  will always my Beast ..and Lana my Beauty. But oh my gosh Jaron Rose and Billie Black are like Sleeping Beauty in EROTICA..on steroids!! Why did I pick this analogy? Because there is no doubt in my mind that Billie has been living in a dream like state her entire life…living out fantasies on other women.. that she hungered to be done to her   but by an amazing and passionate dominant man.  She just hadn't found him yet. What she found in Jaron blew her world apart. He was bossy, sexy, dominant and 100% alpha male perefection.    He turned her total world upside down and inside out. One spectacular night connected these two only like soul mates could. He woke up Billie and everything that came afterwards was a mysterious seduction of the senses and a complete and total domination of the heart. When I say that this book was HOT I mean freaking HELL on WHEELS HOT!  Hand's down Jaron Rose takes the Hottest Dirtiest Filthiest Sex and Talk Scenes EVER!!! Georgia has this way about her writing that she can push you, pull you and take you for this epic ride. You come up against walls and boundaries that you'd never even think to cross before. I found myself on the precipice so many times. Scared, Terrified.  I'd get to a point where I was like screaming and holding my breath.  So trying to trust my Georgia and not freak out.  Things happened that brought me almost to my knees.  Times where I was frozen! Then suddenly I could breath because I should have known that Georgia had my back.  and then the  freaking sex scenes would come about again ..oh hell  A HOT Blazing Sizzling romance at it’s finest with the most beautiful ending that I still have the tracks of tears running down my face. Georgia, your pen it slays me it captures me and it snares me forever and any day my imagination is your playground and you can come here to plant the seeds where your larger than life heroes can grab hold of my heart and never let me go. I simply can’t ever put into words what your books do to me. You want a ride that takes you over a cliff into the unknown where you can’t fathom how you’ll make it..but suddenly out of know were my Georgia she saves me and pushes me back safe and sound in a sweet and epic love story of one amazing Hero and his fiery feisty Heroine. I’m floored.
