Cecy Robson is one author who gives me exactly what I need in my romance. These characters that have been introduced to me over this series have become living beings in my heart. They don't feel fictional.  I adore every single person Cecy has brought to life on these pages, and always want more of them.   Wren was the baby. The lone girl in a huge Irish family . 6 brothers wow. I always felt like she was so tough. The reality is that was true but you can be strong and still have to fight hard, hide the hurt and struggle to protect others from seeing you battle any sort of weakness. I want to say I hate Bryant so very much. I don't even want to call him her ex because that validates a relationship that never should have existed. But my whole heart right now is in the palm of an epic heroes hands.    Evan encompasses every trait that a book hero should carry. He's so loyal and so protective.    He looks out for everyone that he cares about and he sacrificed so many times. With his childhood he could have been bitter, angry and jaded. But Evan was open-hearted and absolutely amazing. Like a magnet when Wren opened her mouth Evan was completely drawn to her. I could go on and on but I want you to experience this beautiful love story yourself.  The passion was so deeply embedded into each page. Their dialogue left me breathless one moment and laughing loudly the next. I simply feel like Evan will be a top hero of 2017 and in my top favorite list forever. This author is #autoread for me and truly a perfect example of what romance is.   I'm so Blown AWAY!!   Can't wait for more.

Maid for the Billionaire by Ruth Cardello I took a risk and dove into this freebie blind. I actually was trying to read the oldest book on my kindle that I hadn't read yet. I was not only pleased, surprised and happy but I am hooked. This was exactly what I needed. With being on the more conservative side of steamy romance I simply like just love stories with depth and no other drama. No side elements that I don't read, no other people drama just good old fashioned steamy love story. Ruth gave me that and more. See took a sexy brooding hero and she brought him to his knees. A feisty school teacher shook this millionaire's foundation and proved that love and family is all that's important in the end. Dominic was my favorite type of hero.. Bossy, take charge and tender when it counted. So possessive he didn't want Abby out of his sight.  Abby was brave, loyal and absolutely the perfect fit to this headstrong man. I absolutely am going to be binge reading. I need these type stories.. Maybe I'm getting older who knows but all the unnecessary and gross drama that even the side characters get involved in some of the newer books detract from my pleasure. I'm just a old fashioned girl who misses her mom's steamy books I used to sneak and devour. This just fit that bill perfectly. On to the next one.  View all my reviews

Transcending Darkness by Airicka Phoenix @AirickaPhoenix

Some books steal a piece of your heart and never give it back. What's beautiful about this seemingly tragic situation is that they leave behind more memories that can be contained. I will search high and low for stories that captivate me long after I close the last page. Stories where I still hear the voices of the characters whispering in my ear and where I find myself dreaming up chapters after the epilogue, years added to the happy ever after to give me one more moment with them. That’s this book. Airicka Phoenix didn't just give me a great romance. She surpassed that with every perfect page. I felt every emotion that was ever heard of while devouring this book.  From the first page I was transported into this mysterious world where a wolf , the enigmatic , intense and mysterious Killian McClary ,  who never thought he'd find love not only found it but it found him and tamed part of his savage heart.  The part of him left wild and dangerous was the part that will stay with me forever. For heroes in books are born every day but the ones who sweep you off your feet right along with the heroine are the ones that stay with you forever. Killian was that for me. He was arrogant and cruel at times. Even in his cruelty he was protecting someone. But when he was gentle and romantic he stopped my heart.  Juliette was by far a heroine that I will always judge every heroine from now on against. She was innocent and brave, fearsome and wholesome. From her tragic past to her battle for a piece of a fairytale.. I adored her tenacity. The passion between these two singed the pages. Burning with electric emotion so deeply, I am still feeling it. So many moments when not reading I'd find myself missing these characters wanting to dive back in. That's true talent. Every name in this book had life breathed into them. Airicka had to put a little bit of her soul into each special person in this story.. From the good to the bad.. I felt her emotions in each one. I'm absolutely and forever blessed to have read this fantastic love story. If I could give one hundred stars I would and it wouldn't be enough.

Hard Limit (Hackers #4) by Meredith Wild -@wildmeredith

I fell in love with this couple hard in the previous installments and was eager for this new entry in their passionate love affair. Blake and Ericka are engaged and you'd think things should be calming down for them. But in a place where you can't trust those that are close to you and also those that seem to be harmless, well no calm in site. The whole cast of characters show their faces at at least one point in the book and it was filled with romance and more.  Speaking of romance. This was one sexy read for sure. Blake is the ultimate dominant lover and Ericka knows how to push is buttons just enough to get that strong hand to want to pull her in. His way with words and his no fear attitude just makes him one sexy hero. The way Blake always let's Ericka know how he's feeling is very endearing. He's not afraid to tell her loves her and he shows her every single day they are together. Ericka is hot headed and sometimes she just goes off with out thinking and I wanted to shake her a time or two. It's just the way this couple is ..they work even when you think they are going to  com-bust. But truly the only fear of any explosions in this book is in the bedroom.  Passion , intrigue and danger. That is what Ericka and Blake encounter but there were some shocks and twists I never saw coming. I was holding on to my Kindle with a white knuckle grip. Meredith Wild is one author that pulls me in on the first page and keeps me enthralled till the last. I find this is one series I can't get enough of. I eagerly await the conclusion and hope this couple get the HEA they deserve.

Georgia Le Carre just blew my freaking head off.  Like over the top,   take me for a ride..right to the edge of my boundaries going to push me off a cliff and yanked me back blew my mother freaking head off. I am so in love with this lady. She doesn’t have a clue how bad I’m crushing right now. When my girl Cariad told me about The Billionaire Banker Series and I discovered Blake Barrington. I decided he  will always my Beast ..and Lana my Beauty. But oh my gosh Jaron Rose and Billie Black are like Sleeping Beauty in EROTICA..on steroids!! Why did I pick this analogy? Because there is no doubt in my mind that Billie has been living in a dream like state her entire life…living out fantasies on other women.. that she hungered to be done to her   but by an amazing and passionate dominant man.  She just hadn't found him yet. What she found in Jaron blew her world apart. He was bossy, sexy, dominant and 100% alpha male perefection.    He turned her total world upside down and inside out. One spectacular night connected these two only like soul mates could. He woke up Billie and everything that came afterwards was a mysterious seduction of the senses and a complete and total domination of the heart. When I say that this book was HOT I mean freaking HELL on WHEELS HOT!  Hand's down Jaron Rose takes the Hottest Dirtiest Filthiest Sex and Talk Scenes EVER!!! Georgia has this way about her writing that she can push you, pull you and take you for this epic ride. You come up against walls and boundaries that you'd never even think to cross before. I found myself on the precipice so many times. Scared, Terrified.  I'd get to a point where I was like screaming and holding my breath.  So trying to trust my Georgia and not freak out.  Things happened that brought me almost to my knees.  Times where I was frozen! Then suddenly I could breath because I should have known that Georgia had my back.  and then the  freaking sex scenes would come about again ..oh hell  A HOT Blazing Sizzling romance at it’s finest with the most beautiful ending that I still have the tracks of tears running down my face. Georgia, your pen it slays me it captures me and it snares me forever and any day my imagination is your playground and you can come here to plant the seeds where your larger than life heroes can grab hold of my heart and never let me go. I simply can’t ever put into words what your books do to me. You want a ride that takes you over a cliff into the unknown where you can’t fathom how you’ll make it..but suddenly out of know were my Georgia she saves me and pushes me back safe and sound in a sweet and epic love story of one amazing Hero and his fiery feisty Heroine. I’m floored.
