Words I Couldn't Say is by far a top favorite if mine for 2016. I read for the emotion hidden among the pages. I want to feel everything. That means truly that yes I want to hurt, I want to cry and I want to love hard. I am sort of a prejudiced reader and its not something I care to change. I simply do not want to read about disloyal characters and I don't want to have all the sleeping around by my characters. I simply want a love story that I can not only believe in but one that I respect. I want to walk away after closing the story feeling like I not only lived their journey but that I liked them as people. So Tessa Teevan is a go to author for loyal, passionate, funny and breathtakingly beautiful stories and characters.    Her men are flawed yet human and honorable. Her heroines are strong yet vulnerable and so tender hearted. Ava and Tucker took those attributes and grew into a couple that really melted my heart. I felt all those feels I mentioned. I even can say I got angry and frustrated. Ava broke my heart but she learned from the pain and then put her lesson to work and that is what counts.   But the truth is that everything they did brought them to their truth. Tucker also knew where he went wrong and going about making things right in Tucker's amazing way was just perfect.  This sweet healing story was filled with lessons for both characters. The main lesson being they were meant to be and that life is short so grab your happiness and don't let go. If by chance it slipped through your fingers for a time.. Go after it. It's never too late. Their steadfast true loyalty will make them a favorite couple of mine forever. ADD TO GOODREADS      The title on Goodreads is different than Amazon for this book. So I thought I would put the new cover/title here. . I borrowed with my kindle unlimited subscription and am very pleased with this story. I'd like to say that Sasha has a way with her characters that makes you want to uncover what's really going on inside their hearts and heads. I don't really like what I call dead ex storyline. But this one worked for me. In the historical setting of this love story it was expected for men and women to be married very young. Not always for love. Most of the time love wasn't apart of marriages at all. Lisette was brought into Remy's life as a young wild and precocious girl. Remy was an adult.. Young but still expected to live an adult life. He married.. Lost 2 wives and babies.. And didn't see Lisette as a woman untill she was 17 or 18 yrs old. Before that she was simply a wild and feisty little brat. But once he saw her for a beautiful and mesmerizing woman he lost his heart. But Remy didn't think he could wed her because he felt like she was his ward. So I lost myself in this deeply passionate story and found that when love is right, true and destiny.. Its going to happen and these two absolutely made me swoon with romantic tingles. Funny and outrageous scenes made me laugh out loud. Then some absolutely earth shattering love scenes took my breath away. Sasha you slay me every time.   #SafeRead #KindleUnlimited

Some books steal a piece of your heart and never give it back. What's beautiful about this seemingly tragic situation is that they leave behind more memories that can be contained. I will search high and low for stories that captivate me long after I close the last page. Stories where I still hear the voices of the characters whispering in my ear and where I find myself dreaming up chapters after the epilogue, years added to the happy ever after to give me one more moment with them. That’s this book. Airicka Phoenix didn't just give me a great romance. She surpassed that with every perfect page. I felt every emotion that was ever heard of while devouring this book.  From the first page I was transported into this mysterious world where a wolf , the enigmatic , intense and mysterious Killian McClary ,  who never thought he'd find love not only found it but it found him and tamed part of his savage heart.  The part of him left wild and dangerous was the part that will stay with me forever. For heroes in books are born every day but the ones who sweep you off your feet right along with the heroine are the ones that stay with you forever. Killian was that for me. He was arrogant and cruel at times. Even in his cruelty he was protecting someone. But when he was gentle and romantic he stopped my heart.  Juliette was by far a heroine that I will always judge every heroine from now on against. She was innocent and brave, fearsome and wholesome. From her tragic past to her battle for a piece of a fairytale.. I adored her tenacity. The passion between these two singed the pages. Burning with electric emotion so deeply, I am still feeling it. So many moments when not reading I'd find myself missing these characters wanting to dive back in. That's true talent. Every name in this book had life breathed into them. Airicka had to put a little bit of her soul into each special person in this story.. From the good to the bad.. I felt her emotions in each one. I'm absolutely and forever blessed to have read this fantastic love story. If I could give one hundred stars I would and it wouldn't be enough.
