Hold On (The 'Burg, #6) by Kristen Ashley @KristenAshley68

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25664796-hold-on

My heart is so full right now that it's nearly overflowing. When a series that has given me so much beauty comes to and end its bittersweet.
Kristen did perfect justice to Merry and Cher.

The way she brought these two together was absolutely brilliant. It was a delicate balance with Merry's past. Cher was not only a kick ass heroine, she was full on strong woman. At times that strength pushed her walls too high but thanks to inside and outside influences those walls stood no chance against what fate had in store for these two.
When Kristen creates a hero, she takes every part of what's good and solid in the world and adds in bad ass and attitude along with honor and loyalty. Garrett Merry Merrick was all of the above with some really smart-assed elements thrown in. He needed that edge and that sarcasm to deal with all that was Cher.

Merry was such a real man, one who wasn't afraid to take care of his woman and by extension everything and everyone who mattered to her. I simply kept wanting to shout YES so many times because this man really was perfect even when he wasn't. The heat in this book was above and beyond the hottest ever. There were blazing love scenes that left me feeling deeply and every single one had such profound emotional depth. Scenes that had me read them more than once. More than erotic, more than passionate. Sheer beauty that takes your breath away.

Then I could go on and on about the cast of fabulous characters that Kristen sprinkled throughout . From the painful yet healing conversations between Dave and Merry that had me in tears and gosh I just felt like my heart would burst. The sweetest moments between Merry and Rocky ..ahh the swooning that Merry caused. Such a loving brother and friend. Then Cher building friendships with the ladies of the Burg. So many laugh out loud moments. Even the funny moments between Merry and Mike.

Mike grinned at the windshield.
 “Domestic bliss already?”
“Don’t know, but you’ll be the second to know when I do.”
Mike chuckled.

From laughing together and even when Mike pissed Merry off simply was authentic Kristen Ashley.  The one thing I love about the relationships that this brilliant author creates is that they seem just real like friendships are realistic in the fact these guys might argue but in the end of the day they have each others back. Just like family. So every single character that showed their face in this epic read had my full attention. There was a star though and he wasn't a bad ass yet but was on his way to being one in full force. Yes, Ethan stole the show. That little man was amazing and brave. More names from so many books in the series that  just added that Kristen Ashley fantastic edge. Love . passion, suspense and family this series will always be held dear to my heart. Seeing favorites and revisiting stories had me in tears that were bittersweet. Of course even though I wanted it to go on and on..the end had to come.
There is no one out there that can do magic in a epilogue like this superbly talented author. So many insights of the futures of our favorites and maybe hopefully .. Crossing fingers and toes ..insights in to future story lines.
No matter what Kristen .. Girl you are just full up with author badass brilliance. Write on lady..we can't wait for what you have in store for us.

Soaring (Magdalene #2) by Kristen Ashley @KristenAshley68

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/24374053-soaring

When trying to write a review for a Kristen Ashley novel I find myself in a state of utter loss of the English dictionary.

I really need a thesaurus so I can find every single adjective for Phenomenal and Extraordinary. Simply put she from the first page introduces us to characters that have you gripping the book waiting to find out more and hours have passed and any interruptions cause havoc on your senses. I liked Mickey in The Will but in Soaring.. I first liked him..then really kinda didn't like him for a while at the same time wanted Amelia to climb him like a tree. He had me mad ..amused and flustered. What this brought me to was how ingenious a writer this author is to make me feel like I wanted to move to a town in Maine and open up a coffee shop or boutique just to run into these characters as if they are real. Amelia and her past had me literally depressed and sobbing for a lot of the beginning of this book. Kristen has a way of breaking you down to build you back up stronger and more beautiful than ever before. That's what I found in this breathtaking story. . change..acceptance and beauty after pain.

Page after page of moments that I'd never be able to explain.. to experience something like this you have to read it yourself. There just isn't enough words..she took them all.

The Will (Magdalene #1) by Kristen Ashley

I can't begin to even try to explain or convey how much beauty is trapped inside my heart right now. I'm in utter awe. How can I move on to another book after this? She just keeps giving us perfection.
I experience so many emotions every time I pick up a Kristen Ashley book.
You know Book doesn't even come close to describing what she writes. She writes journeys, adventures, escapades and she writes poetry ..in her own way. It's like love stories injected with some sort of passion infusion. I can't get them out of my head.
I replay parts of them over and over.

Jake ..oh my goodness Jake is like the absolute perfect man. Why? Because he wasn't!! Because he had made quite a few messed up choices and it turned him into a loyal, strong and amazing man.

Josie, wow I can honestly say I've come to realize she is my favorite KA heroine. I have to say that it's hard for me to connect with the heroines in a story because I always find them lacking somewhere. But Josie was just plain Kick Ass..and rocking.
Like pure and utter class but so much humility all in the same package. Jake never stood a chance. Just her vocabulary sucked me in and I felt like I was just in some sort of old time romantic movie with a side dose of hot amazing love scenes.

I could go on and on but honestly I have way to much in my heart and so many pages highlighted that it wouldn't be fair. All I can say is this is sheer beauty..and you have to experience it. Still hands down Kristen you are my #1

Alas....
I will be again going through withdrawal awaiting the next one...

Kaleidoscope (Colorado Mountain, #6) by Kristen Ashley

Kristen Ashley takes me on an amazing journey in every book that she writes. I fall in love with her characters and and find myself highlighting more quotes than any other author. I would love to spend a day in her imagination.
My favorite KA Alpha to date has been
Chase Keaton from
Breathe(Colorado Mountain #5)
But then I hadn't really gotten to know his best friend Jacob Decker. This amazing man stole the breath from me and captured my entire focus to the tune of at times forgetting to breathe. Every page was filled with the most endearing, sexy and arrogant words that left me hungry for more. His dominant side was frequent and driving and he filled each passionate encounter with a tenderness that captivated me.

Kristen didn't skimp on the heat and I had so many moments I needed to fan myself.

Jacob bent forward, pushing me down.
I felt his hand between my shoulder blades so I was cheek to the pillow,
both his hands went to my hips, hauling me back as he drove in and I took him, still coming, being devoured by a climax.

There were so many parts to this story that proved that Kristen Ashley knows just what to give her fans.

We had so many of her previous character show up and it as so amazing to see little bits of what was going on with them.  Emme was lovingly brought into the girl posse with all my favorite heroines from this series.

Emme was a complex heroine. At times I get a little peeved with heroines that have the broken pasts because they tend to whine a bit too much or just play the damaged card and it drags. But not this girl. She actually was determined to bury her shattered past and act like it never happened. This is where Deck came in to tear down the cage she had her fears and pain in and let it out so she could heal. He saved her from herself and in the process saved himself. I can't say enough ..and I am sure most people get tired of hearing this but Kristen Ashley is by far still my favorite.

**Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to review this beautiful read**

Jagged (Colorado Mountain, #5) by Kristen Ashley

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

****THANK YOU NETGALLEY FOR THIS ARC**** MADE MY FREAKING YEAR!!!!
IF I COULD GIVE A BOOK 10 STARS THIS WOULD BE THE BOOK!

5 Awesome Sizzling Stars

5/5 Sizzling Hearts for Heat!!

Everyone that knows me knows that Kristen Ashley is my favorite author. I've loved every book I've read of hers. Some more than others. But the main factor that has kept them close to my heart is the Hero. Her hero's put the A in Alpha, the S in Sex , the H in Hot and the L in loyalty. I could go down the freaking alphabet and I could come up with a swoon worthy word for every single letter but I'll save some time and just say Kristen Ashley HERO's Freaking ROCK..

Then I met Graham "Ham" Reece. My mind felt like it was splitting in two. I wanted to scream! He was so freaking different from any guy she's ever written before.
First of all this is a Second Chances type love story. These two characters were part of each others lives for years in but it wasn't always a steady thing. He was a travelin man..leaving when he felt like it. So for me I was so torn from the get go because Kristen Ashely's guys stayed..they always stayed once they fell. But well this love story took a different road.
Having said that..I got to do something I never had to do in a KA book before. I had to watch her Hero completely grow and change and redeem himself. Oh my gosh ..she never lets me down. Graham did redeem himself and actually made me love him as much as my top KA alphas and that is very hard to believe after the feelings I had for him in the beginning.
When he fell. Or rather when he landed ....well ..I landed with him. I had to see in his past and in his heart that he just had a huge wall built ...all to protect himself. Zara ripped it down and when he gave his all..he gave it in spades.

Kristen you really had me going for a while there. My mind was in tatters along with my heart. I really thought for sure that I was going to finally have to rate a KA book low. But then my heart started mending right along with the characters. This story takes you on journey for sure and you come out realizing a story based on forgiveness and unconditional love is the greatest romance there is.

Still my favorite hands down!!!
