Oxygen Deprived (Kilgore Fire, #3) by Lani Lynn Vale @lanilynnvale

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/30148586-oxygen-deprived

Drew and Aspen were fun and feisty. I like their banter and their passion.

Aspen was more than sassy, she was silly at times in her own crazy way.

Drew had some idiot moves at first and seriously shouldn't have been dating at all in his position. His devotion to those he loves and anyone that's important to him is something that absolutely stole my heart. He's a true perfect hero even when he was a little silly and stupid. But what man isn't?

Once he straightened his situation out I fell for him right along with Aspen.

The crazy cast of characters were in rare form and I was absolutely ecstatic to have a lighter story without any depressive topics this time.

I felt like Lani was back and I loved it.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/30797945-holding-his-forever

Alexa Riley has finally given us a hot sexy fireman. Derek Phoenix is the absolute perfect hero. He's completely head over heels for Fia from first sight. There's so much sweetness and Sexy times you'll need a fan and some ice water handy. But most of all this is pure romance.. Love at its basic form. When two souls find each other they are instantly drawn and nothing will come between them

Shock Advised (Kilgore Fire #1) by Lani Lynn Vale @lanilynnvale

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28482841-shock-advised

Some books leave my heart in a sewed together mess.

A broken heart from the beginning to heal slowly but wow so painfully through this rough love story. This is Lani Lynn Vale so it had its signature humor, heart racing sensuality and familiarity of friendship and family. But this story hit subjects that mothers.. Hell any human with a beating heart just doesn't want to experience. Things were beyond sad.. But I will say this author took a broken road.. With two broken people and stitched them together to start a healed forever. Sometimes even beautiful stories hurt so good. Tai's story called to me from previous installments and I know it would be a rough one. But what I didn't expect is for Mia to come shake up his world in a way that changed the foundation of everything he'd ever thought he'd want. Mia ..wow this lady is a true survivor and the fact she still breathes and lives and loves is a true testament to her strength. These two made me cry with them, laugh right along together and soar with their happiness and sigh with their passion.
While my heart might have been in pieces it was truly sewn together with their unwavering love and had me believing in faith and healing..it just takes time.
Sweetest epilogue and amazing intro to what's coming. Absolutely loved the beginning of what's going to be a electrifying series.
Wow...and
Then the next book is going to sucker punch me..as Lani likes to do..she keeps us on our toes. I trust her though. I will anxiously await her making me right. She's just that honorable that I have faith in her characters.

Soaring (Magdalene #2) by Kristen Ashley @KristenAshley68

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/24374053-soaring

When trying to write a review for a Kristen Ashley novel I find myself in a state of utter loss of the English dictionary.

I really need a thesaurus so I can find every single adjective for Phenomenal and Extraordinary. Simply put she from the first page introduces us to characters that have you gripping the book waiting to find out more and hours have passed and any interruptions cause havoc on your senses. I liked Mickey in The Will but in Soaring.. I first liked him..then really kinda didn't like him for a while at the same time wanted Amelia to climb him like a tree. He had me mad ..amused and flustered. What this brought me to was how ingenious a writer this author is to make me feel like I wanted to move to a town in Maine and open up a coffee shop or boutique just to run into these characters as if they are real. Amelia and her past had me literally depressed and sobbing for a lot of the beginning of this book. Kristen has a way of breaking you down to build you back up stronger and more beautiful than ever before. That's what I found in this breathtaking story. . change..acceptance and beauty after pain.

Page after page of moments that I'd never be able to explain.. to experience something like this you have to read it yourself. There just isn't enough words..she took them all.

It's a Wonderful Fireman (The Bachelor Firemen of San Gabriel #6.5) by Jennifer Bernard - @Jen_Bernard

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23166361-it-s-a-wonderful-fireman

Ok so blown away right now. I haven't read a book that left such amazing joy in my heart like this in so long. Such feel good messages all the way throughout this heartwarming holiday read. I laughed, cried and swooned. Then just enough steam to have me warm all over.

Dean Mulligan had a hard beginning to his life that left him a little bitter on the inside. His past broke my heart so bad. But Lizzie was someone that started knocking down his walls and that scared him just a tad. She had her own battles that she fought hard to get past. Trying to push her away didn't work out like he thought. Lizzie was so full of life and love she wasn't gonna give up on Mulligan and then one moment changed everything. One fire for a fireman can be the fire that can change his life. Some adorable antics from "ghosts of past and the present" made this one extraordinary emotional read. A sweet holiday story that would warm the hardest of hearts will be found in this amazing novella. I honestly was left with so much hope and happiness in my heart I want to beg everybody to give it a try. I know I'm about to read every book in this series and I want the first book in the next series like NOW after all the hero is named Caleb HART .. :)

Melt for Him (Fighting Fire #2) by Lauren Blakely - @LaurenBlakely3

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/22346950-melt-for-him
No matter who you are I can almost bet there has been a time that you've seen a person that you wanted to just say to hell with the rules and just throw caution to the wind. To give into passion and desire. To find a person who you can connect with on both a physical and emotional level and just have a little fun for one night. Well, that was the plan for Becker and Megan. Megan was in town for a small amount of time and never expected that Becker would be so connected to the people in her life. What transpired next is a game of tug of war that neither could win. They both wanted more and neither could admit that to not only themselves but to Megan's brother. I adored Becker. He was so sweet. I thought it was perfect how they finally gave in and decided to not waste precious time and to enjoy what was in front of them.

He took the stairs two at a time.
It was a possessive move, and a protective one, and it said everything she’d ever need to know about him.
He was fierce, and he was gentle, and he was all she wanted.
I also loved the relationship between Megan and Travis and how he wanted to be the protective older brother bu he saw true love and didn't try to fight it. This was a very sexy romantic read and another winner from Lauren Blakely. I look forward each and every time to her amazing stories.
