When I need my perfect hero fix I simply read Tessa Bailey. This was one more exemplary example of what I love in my male leading men. Totally over the top possessive and 100% loyal. There is no one better at giving us a dirty talker. Tessa wins hands down every time.    Connor was intensely and perfectly man personified. From his constant protective nature to his sexy dominance, I was seduced. I felt his hopelessness over Erin tortured past and was feeling so much rage with him for her.     The way this man gave her complete unconditional acceptance was beyond beautiful. He embodied all that I look for in my book boyfriends. A true hero in the aspect that he held back is own needs, his own desires for her and in that process he gave her the reigns and he still found the sweetest control ... to be able to give that control to her was a power he never had before.    Erin was definitely a very intense and deeply troubled heroine. To be able to survive and function after he past was just extraordinary. A day to Erin was counted by the seconds and minutes, steps and doors, windows and exits.    I loved her quirky brave persona and I liked her from the start.  She couldn't stay away from Connor even though she had the fear that raced along side the need and the want.  I adored how patient he was and the way Erin grew stronger every day he surrounded her with walls of freedom and love to release her was just beautiful.  Up in Smoke had profound and scorching love scenes that were balanced and emotional, adding a precious  depth to the story. Each character added intrigue and excitement with just the right amount of mystery. I simply can't get enough of this author and can't wait for the next sizzler she writes.

Tessa Bailey you have swept me off my feet once again. Its so funny how one moment Ben had me swooning then the next I wanted to shake him. Before I could stew in my anger he had my heart fluttering again with his adorable and at the same time hot and dirty thoughts.    I'm a sucker for professor/student romances when the ages are appropriate and this sexy and romantic tale fit my needs perfectly. Ben definitely won the award for best redemption and groveling I've read in a super long time. I really adored how much attention Ben paid to even the finest details of Honey's likes.. loves and important dreams. He really was a great guy. His way of making up just won me over for good. I think because he did it in such an over the top cave man way is why it worked so well.    Honey was a feisty and brave southern girl. I loved her imagination and her drive to succeed not only in life but in love. She wasn't a doormat though and gave Ben the room to man up. This was the perfect balance of angst to romance.. and loved how it set up the set up for Russell and Abby coming soon. Tessa keep those fingers busy and the stories coming.. can't wait for more.

OH Tessa you freaking do it every time. It's like you have my hero check list beside you and  leave no box unchecked on my MUST HAVES.  ✓ Dominant ✓ Bossy ✓  Arrogant  ✓ Filthy Mouth ✓  Possessive ✓ Passionate  ✓ Loyal ✓ Protective ✓ Always Unique  NO every Hero Tessa writes is his own character and they may always be dirty talker but each one has his own special personal qualities that I adore.  Reed saw Julie and he wanted Julie and that was that. But Reed wasn't counting on all those erotic feelings to cause some bumping of blood in an organ north of where he wanted her. Nope Julie touched Reed in a place that he hadn't used EVER. Didn't even know it worked. He though his heart was just a lump in his chest. I really loved how this progressed slowly for Reed. ..from not even allowing himself to even hug  Julie..to not ever wanting her out of his site.This grew slowly and realistic with Reed fighting himself the whole way but I really enjoyed his inner turmoil.  But I have to say the dominate side of Reed was my favorite part.      Julie was used to "proper and sweet" not a dirty talking take me where I stand arrogant ass. NO she wasn't used to it but her body craved his passion and there wasn't anything that would keep these two away in the end. I love how Tessa writes such endearing love stories layered in between the erotica. I mean every word spoken and every touch made means something special and again Tessa left me breathless and swooning. Loved every moment.
