There are moments in your life when you know that a higher power is at work. That someone is hard at work making sure that all the bad you’ve ever felt in your life is cashed in for something so incredibly perfect it almost doesn’t seem real. Ok so this was me for 85% of this book!!! Whether it was happy crying or sad crying this girl was blubbering the whole freaking time. OH and I LOVED EVERY SINGLE MOMENT!! Greg Cage is like the caviar of book boyfriends. He is so freaking perfect we need to make a mold out of him and that includes his "rings" Oh Cohen..my gosh that kid stole the book for me. I mean I don't know how Harper does it but that kid just totally melted my heart. I'll never see a little kid with a super hero cape and not be able to think of Cohen. Melissa was strong and beautiful and loved her family with everything in her. I just loved her and her Men..so much. But then we get our precious surprise and everything that goes with it and this book was an emotional roller coaster. I would gladly stand in line for hours to ride it again. Now I'll scream again. GIVE ME MADDOX LOCKE NOW!!! This guy is like in my head and won't leave!! I want him now!!

Harper Sloan introduced us to a bunch of characters in her debut novel Axel. I fell head over lusty heels for these amazing guys. I was thrilled with the opportunity to review and participate in a blog tour for Beck. Here is my dilemma.

I am in a complete total ball of rambling thoughts.

I loved this book so much and I am so freaking amazed by all of the emotions and I can’t even express into words everything that I am feeling.

First of all I fell in love with Beck in the previous books but what I thought I knew about Beck was so far off the mark. He wasn't just this life of the party hot guy who seemed like he just didn't take anything serious. NO, he was the rock, the steadfast shelter in a storm of Dee's life. He was there when nobody else was. Beck is the hero in this twisted fairytale. He battled the demons and beat them back in Dee's head.

Dee was not my favorite heroine, I felt so bad for what she endured. I wanted to shake her at times to say wake the F up because when you push him too far he isn't gonna come back. I just felt that at times she didn't deserve Beck at all. I know that by the end she really woke up and I know that Beck saw something in Dee that maybe we couldn't. I do know that these two people were like a hurricane in their love scenes. Talk about some scorching dirty talk and blazing hot sexy times.
I wanted their HEA to always be that Happy Ever After.



I'm a US Marine MOM. I am unapologetically am 100% behind our US Military. I prayed constantly when my son was over seas. I had a moment in this book that really shattered my heart.

My love for these characters just had a massive hit and I just wanted to cry, scream and rant. I hope that somehow the future books heal this hurt and make it more bearable but for now I am just broken -hearted.

I want Maddox now. I have have to have Maddox.

 

Cage (Corps Security #2) by Harper Sloan

5 Sizzling Pages Good!

I am in so much fanlove with Harper Sloan's Corps Security ALPHA-YUMMYLISHOUS-HEROES. Oh Greg Cage..you are something else. We were introduced to Greg's "protective" side in Axel. He had been taking care of Izzy for so long but not only Izzy. He does this with everyone he cares about. We learn more about his reasons and more about the loss of his sister Grace. Melissa is a snarky balsy lady who can hold her own and doesn't get backed down by anyone. She loves with the fiercest heart anyone could have and fights for what is hers.
Greg had to learn to love a girl who could take care of herself and Meli had to let someone in and trust them to come through for her when it matters most. When Cohen and Greg interact it melted my heart and just proved Greg was meant to be a father. There is nothing sexier than a man protecting his woman and child. The funniest parts of this book had me laughing so hard especially Cohen and Mattox..oh my oh my Mattox..when he opens up it's gonna be beautiful/tragic/awesome. I enjoyed this whole ride and devoured this book. Cage and Meli are a beautiful couple and Cohen makes them family that they both deserve.

The hottest sex scenes burned the pages when Meli and Cage came together. Let's just say there were 3 very important elements that made the fireworks burn hotter than most. You'll have to read to find those 3 elements. :)
