From the cover to the announcement that this book was coming I had one word. Wow. That's my first thought and again the last after I slowly regretfully closed my kindle.. When I finish a book and all I want to do is clutch my kindle close to my heart and sob.. Not from sadness but from sheer beauty. That's a true testament that an author has touched my soul. When the pages are savored. Slowly turned because every single page read is one more closer to the end. I have to stop occasionally because I know the end is coming. I'm selfish and I'm greedy. I don't want to finish it. Those books like this book are serious torpedoes into my heart. There must be some secret ingredient that's hidden on the pages that is like a sweet savory treat I don't want to share with anyone. Sarah has not only written a beautiful love story but she shined some light in my dark week. She's given me some laughter and some tears.     This author sneaks into your heart with her passionate words, life like characters, and happily ever afters you want to live in to experience the "after". Closing her book is like saying goodbye to a loved one. It's bittersweet and at the same time full of sentimental hope. You know she's got another one simmering in her heart and that's worth looking forward to. Cole and Abby are one sweet couple who will always hold a place in my heart simply because the days I read this story were the days I needed that small piece of light. Wow this series ended on a hopeful, nostalgic and perfect note. Brandon was so protective. From page one he was out for blood and someone had to pay. Carly's dear friend Thomas was another absolutely mysterious and interesting character who I really felt so bad for . He stood and took it and now I'm hungering for his story.   This installment had so many evil characters and betrayal at every corner. Oh that Sean.. He made my skin crawl.  The suspense was absolutely through the roof on this one.   Brandon's intense focus on reclaiming what was his, his life, his world brought tears to my eyes.       Of course Nic was still his extraordinary take charge self that had me distracted for a moment only because I caught my mini devil self on my shoulder battling it out about who I loved the most.. Nic, Brandon, Nic, Brandon..  Oh hell they are both so perfect. Nic was more than a friend he stepped up like family. There is no blood thicker than the absolute loyalty of Mafia Ties. Carly had so much spirit. She's tough as nails yet shows true feminine softness when Brandon layers her with dominant love. They had the perfect balance of passion to power.  His total, complete and unwavering faith that Carly would free herself if it came to that, really melted my heart. But that set it on fire was every time he called her kitten and especially when he describes her as his naughty kitty cat.    He definitely can make a girl purr. This series really captivated me and I almost fill a little bit sad that it's over. I only smile though thinking of the future and all the possibilities of stories for the next Mafia family generation. Get to writing my romance loving sisters. Wow this book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Not for action or suspense but for the absolute connection I felt between these two characters that stumbled upon each other and start a love story straight out off the bat. Marcus is a movie star but he's not all stuck up or arrogant. I loved how real he was. I loved how he called her Gracie.    He's so romantic and everything he said was swoon worthy sweet. Lots of heat and Sexy times. Sweet little Lexy definitely added that adorable banter although she was so mature for six yrs old. I still enjoyed her personality so much. There was a layer of when will the shoe drop the whole book making me flip through the pages so fast. One thing I need from my heroes is grovel when they screw up. Rest assured Marc only had eyes for his Gracie and any stupidity on his part had nothing to do with well anything but him being a guy who is a little bone headed and a lot clueless at one small part. Sweet sexy story about a hero who knows exactly what he wants from the first sight. Scarlet and Beau take little red riding hood and the big bad wolf and turn it on its head. Talk about heating things to and keeping them smoldering. The sweetness though was my favorite part of their relationship. He adored Scarlet and showed her in all the right ways.    A special side character was the added bonus. Scarlet's grandmother Ms. Fair had me laughing and snickering the whole time.
