Combust (The Wellingtons #1) by Tessa Teevan - @TessaTeevan

And if I have my way, I’m going be your last.” When I begin a Tessa Teevan book I find myself getting comfortable and planning on staying put for a pretty good while.    I get lost in the story and the characters always seem to just burrow their way into my heart leaving an undeniable imprint and something special  for me to think about for days to come. Combust was just what it should have been titled  in every way. These two characters were electric and passionate and from the first encounter they were drawn to each other in a deeply emotional way.    Being young and immature they both made some pretty stupid mistakes early one and I wanted to shake them several times. But tessa has a way to make things just work out just the way they are supposed to.    Andi and cohen had a lot of growing up to do before they could have ever worked as a couple and i enjoyed this sweet love story in so many ways. cohen was just enough of a sweetheart and sexy alpha that i was in romance heaven.      i can't wait for branson's story and i admit to being a brooding hero addict. give me more tessa ..i just need it now.

Assumption (Underground Kings #1) by Auorora Rose Reynolds - @auroraroseR

Assumption was another amazing winner by one of my favorite authors. Auorora knows how to bring me exactly what I want in a romance. Her stories bring passionate and emotional plots  to us with climatic and breathtaking suspense. Romance that leaves you breathless and characters you finish with a feeling of adding a new friend to your life. These people feel so real to me and that might make me crazy but I totally own up to that anyway. From the moment I picked up my Kindle and started this story I couldn't put it down. I read it straight freaking through!    I love bossy and possessive alphas. While the romance was slow building it didn't lack in these qualities. Both characters were drawn to each other and each fought a battle against this attraction. Well they lost! But in the end both won something amazing. A beautiful romance slowly developed and I fell hard for not only Kenton but for this couple in general. Autumn was used to being treated like an object and had turned off the sensual part of herself which was very ironic since she was in the business of sensuality as a stripper. This was job that was meant to be a stepping stone to what she was wanted to do with her life. A dangerous encounter derails things and sends her into the care of Kenton and things progress in a way that she is able to let down walls that have been up high for over a decade.    Kenton didn't give up and in true Aurora Alpha fashion he didn't take no for an answer but in a way that was passionate and emotional. He saw the fighter in Autumn and pushed her to be stronger.    I loved this story and saw the differences immediately from the Until series. Kenton was rough in ways that took my breath away and also made me want to just squeeze him to death. For every single moment he is ruthless..he has another that he is just the most sensitive and romantic and most of all HOT alpha of them all.  She’s not what I expected. She’s not what I wanted, but fuck me if she’s not what I need.   This would not be authentic Aurora if Kenton didn't bless us with a filthy mouth. So yes ..I have to say that is another reason I was hooked!    “Open.”  His eyes lock on my mouth as I open for him. The second the head of his cock touches my tongue, I moan. “I think you love sucking me off more than I like it, and I like it a whole hell of a lot.”  Also you know it's not a true Aurora read without a sweet loveable pet.     .and and amazing epilogue or 3 ..LOL. Adore seeing into the future of the  Mayson's. Just freaking LOVE IT    I was left eagerly anxious and hungry for the next installment.

The Viper by Kele Moon - @Kele_Moon

I was thrilled to find so many things I love bout my favorite types of romance stories combined in this steamy read. I found a bossy yet sweet hero who was loyal to his girl and his friends and family. I found a mix of innocent and vixen in the heroine and add to that some sassiness thrown in for good measure.    Marcus and Katie were adorable together. Thrown in each others paths by the most unusual circumstances they are drawn to each other in the most profound way. Katie doesn't want to let this amazing and mysterious stranger leave from her life without the chance to at least thank him for saving her. She goes to extreme measures to find him again.  Marcus sees everything he yearns for but doesn't deserve in Katie but in the end can't fight his attraction and they spend one week together that just deepens the connection so much more.  Marcus loved Katie like she never experienced before and their sweet encounters were emotional and erotic.      Katie stole the story in my book the way she stood up to those around her and decided to move forward with such courage. Marcus was the perfect hero in the way that he didn't shy away from his feelings ..but owned up to them.  I loved all the secondary characters and how Kele Moon brought such depth to the story by showing the connections of the deep rooted family ties. My heart broke for Chuito and I want him and Alaine to find their HEA so bad.  I was very intrigued by the Moretti brothers and hope to hear more about them in future books. I have a secret obsession with Mafia story lines..and I'm very very intrigued by the intense and broody Nova. What sassy heroine would bring this sexy tough man to his knees?   Kele, I kinda want to beg you to give me his story ASAP.    I can say this was one romantic and passionate romance and I enjoyed every Sizzling Page.

Heroes are my Weakness by Susan Elizabeth Phillips - @SEPauthor

I love romantic suspense and I adore romantic comedy. Take these two elements and mix them together with a small amount of sexual tension..and you have one amazing read. When this story started I will confess that I was a tad bit confused with the puppet dialogue that was going on with the heroine Annie. After a while I caught on so well though that I felt like these puppets were actual real characters. Yes ..totally. I mean it seemed strange to me too but Annie almost had a little bit of her personality in each of her puppets. Then comes the mysterious Theo. OH man give me a dark and brooding man and I'll swoon ASAP every single time. Theo brought broodiness to the table with a capital B. I mean B for BABY Give me more!! I wanted to hear him talk ..because every time he opened his mouth it seemed I held my breath. Sometimes the most erotic reads are left for the imagination. Theo had my imagination running wild. I am serious!   So then ..my favorite character..oh my the one that stole the show was.. Canibal..the cat!  This little guy called the shots..and I adored him.  That hero was my weakness!  The mystery and the suspense kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time and I absolutely didn't know what was going to happen. Ms. Phillips wove a tale that had me guessing, then cussing then laughing. Then after all was said and done, I did a little swooning (is that a word? ) and then I cried. But with a smile on my face. So yea this was a definite winner on all accounts.

Hard to Hold on To (Hard Ink #2.5) by Laura Kaye - @laurakayeauthor

This was one sweet sizzling amazing read. I loved Easy from the first book and wanted this story from his introduction. There was just something about this gentle giant that drew me in and had me wanting to see beneath the layer of thick skin and gruff exterior. His name may be Easy..but he came off the opposite.. The way I'd describe him until Jenna came into his life would be Hard. Because of pain and loss that left scars on his body and his soul..he just felt empty.  All of these soldiers are paying the ultimate price..that they shouldn't have had to pay. From one man selfish mistake they are being punished and together with the help of some amazing secondary characters ..things will be set right, one step at a time. Easy and Jenna were the sweetest couple. Both broken in some ways but strong when together. In a perfect world you might think that they were moving too fast or that this was the wrong time but one thing is for certain. This group of individuals and this couple have learned the hard way that life is too short to wait till tomorrow or wait till "the time is right". So I enjoyed the fact that Easy and Jenny were able to lose themselves in each other and find a little bit of peace, comfort and acceptance in a time when they needed it most.       Laura Kaye remains one of my go to authors for honest and realistic couples. When I open a story written by Laura, I am swept away to a better world. This series is fantastic and every installment just keeps getting better.   ***From a personal standpoint there was subject matter in this book that touched my heart greatly. As a mother of a US Marine I have been on my knees in prayer so many days just asking for safety for my son. But after they come home and they are physically safe..that is when the WAR starts.  This is when they battle demons they can't see.   I pray for each and every son and daughter that there comes a day our heroes stop being that next 22.  *** Laura thank you.

A Lil' Less Broken by Tara Oakes - @Lil_Oakes

This is a second chance lover story and a biker romance too. I loved how the story went back and forth showing us glimpses of what happened to this sweet couple. Jay and Lil are  both pretty stubborn and strong willed people. I found that if they'd have just talked back when they were younger then their lives would have taken a very big turn. When one crazy night throws Julia (Lil) into a crazy situation, she finds herself back in presence of her first love and also at his mercy. I felt these two had amazing chemistry and that their love never died no matter the time and distance they suffered through.      There was one scene that had to be my favorite type of this part of a love story..it was just hot.    His need was my need, and I would see to it that it was completely satisfied or die trying.   Yes some pretty hot scenes in this baby!!!      Quickly things escalate and drama is coming from all sides. Mix in some fiery love scenes and I was pretty much devouring this sexy read.     There were some pretty scary moments and then BAM cliffhanger 911 happens.    I'll be ready for the next one as I need to know what happens right now  Great start to a sexy new series.
