Listen to Me was a great start to what’s guaranteed to be a sexy and romantic new series. What Kristen Proby does best is create bonds between not only the Hero and Heroine of her tales but she creates such friendship and family dynamics that you feel like you really know these people. I loved the tight knit group that these 5 ladies showed to be. They supported each other through every obstacle and every trial they had. The thing that shined was their strength and their ability to fight for each other. Addie needed people to push her and fight for her because after years of guys treating her bad she had a big chip on her shoulder and an attitude of one shot and you’re out. So here comes the sexy , charismatic and absolutely romantically funny Jake.  He left that bad boy rocker mentality far behind yet kept that since of danger that Addie couldn’t resist.   She fell hard and she fell fast..yet when Jake got scared things got dicey. I felt really bad because what’s great after a screw up? Grovel.. and grovel is something Jake was a master of.  Wow the way that these two lit up the pages was beyond hot and Kristen did her magic at creating one sexy, dirty talking hero. But what really stole my heart was how sweet, caring and kind this amazing man was. If you haven’t heard the song that Jake wrote for Addie..you just have to. It’s so amazing.   She’s as important to me now as breathing, and there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do to make sure she’s safe. That she’s happy Listen to a sample of If I Had Never Met You here! Rock My Heart ( Luminescent Juliet #4) by Jean Haus @JeanHaus

Jean Haus brings me up and down and back to flying every time I dive into one of her sexy, sweet , intensely emotional stories. Gabe called to me from the moment his character was introduced in the previous installments. Brooding, hot headed and so sexy. Yea you know I love my bad boys. But the part that called to me the most was his part. An abusive alcoholic father took a childhood and turned it into a survival nightmare. Gabe came out as an angry yet protective man. April was very secretive almost. Like from the start of her involvement in the group of friends I felt something wasn't right. Jean did an amazing job at peeling back the layers and letting the reader see the real April. Her past was painful yet she really held too much responsibility for the things that happened. Gabe and April fit together like two puzzle prices. Him all angles and rough edges and April sharp lines and rigid curves. They evened each other out, creating balance. Every choice causes a reaction on life and we have to answer in some way. Gabe had major trials to face. When about to give up he made some pretty bad choices. Really the worst was pushing April away. But April was so amazing at not giving up and Gabe stole my heart back the moment he hit his knees. I really enjoyed this young, fresh romantic tale and can't wait for more from this author. She yanks my heart strings and feeds the music of my soul.  4 Rocking stars.

Shattered by You (Tear Asunder #3) by Nashoda Rose @nashodarose

Crisis and Havens story caused me a storm of extreme emotions. From sadness for Haven to the opposite, hope and joy from Crisis. Two total opposites, attracted truly soul deep. They saw in each other the other half of each others heart. Watching the fowl mouthed playboy fall in love and fall hard was not only swoon worthy it was at times funny as hell.   I'll be honest. Crisis had a way of opening his mouth and I cringed.. Because his past grossed me out.   But the playboy hung up his manwhore card the moment he dove into the lake with Haven in his arms. He had this boyish charm that screamed you can't help but love me! Even when he was funny he still had moments of a irritating crude outbursts but still he was one of those bad boys you couldn't help but fall in love with simply because of how hard he loved Haven.  Haven didn't stand a chance trying to protect her heart. He chipped away and his persistence was just so powerful and his patience so unbelievable that there wasn't anything that could keep her shields up.  Also the family atmosphere that Ms. Rose created was heartwarming and sentimental while feeling deep and true. I adored all the characters as usual and the suspense was gripping. But most of all this author gifted me with one more sweet, sexy and Sizzling romance. Bravo lady.   Amazon US

Engaging (Alluring #2) by Sarah Curtis @sarahcurtisathr

I absolutely fell in love with Jack in Alluring. I was so excited for Gage's story. Having read Alluring I was so hopeful that I would get another amazing hero. I did. Gage was awesome. But he did mess up badly 4 yrs ago. Simply put Gage had to not only win Cassie's heart again ..he had to win mine For a while I was worried, I won't lie. But the beauty of this book was that Sarah wrote it with all my fears and all my questions and doubts right there for Gage to have to over come. This heroine didn't roll over and just forgive Gage for leaving her. NO ..she made him work for it. He worked so hard and he did everything RIGHT. I could't fault Gage ..not one time. So I had to set aside my feelings over him leaving Sarah, and also that he did have hook ups during the 4 year separation. I had to listen to his words and I had to see that he really did love her and really did work hard to make up for all that happened.  Gage would spend a few more hours with Cassie after Logan fell asleep. He never tried to have sex with her, never spent the night,  but he would hold her hand, cradle her against his chest and give her light kisses, sometimes on her lips, her cheek, her neck and even on her hand.     Cassie wasn't fully innocent in the problems they had. She really should have contacted Gage and let him know what she was going through. I didn't agree with how she handled it at all. But here Sarah works her magic again. She let Cassie feel guilt, she let Cassie really apologize and Gage could have really been mad but he honestly loved her and these two were the perfect example of  WORKING IT OUT.      I can't call Gage a perfect hero but I can say that this was really a great example of a love that wouldn't be denied and also two people who had hearts big enough to forgive and to LOVE totally and completely. I'll eagerly await Mace's story and believe in this author ..that she'll always give us stories that may not be perfect love stories with perfect characters but what she will do is give us healing and grace.. because honestly that's what real love is all about.

Deep (Stage Dive #4) by Kylie Scott @KylieScottbooks

Going into this story I was ecstatic to hear it was about Ben the sexy bearded bass player.  I also love pregnancy story lines. I was so happy to see all the previous characters and had so many laugh out loud moments with this crazy bunch. Ben and Lizzie had a rough hill to climb though. I found Ben wasn't as take charge as I would have liked. He really didn't give me the intensity or convince me that he really fell hard for Lizzie. I kept reading though because Kylie gives us in depth stories ..about more than just the couple. . how each individual comes to terms with struggles and changes that need to be made. I loved that Lizzie was strong and didn't let people push her around. She'd have done this alone if she had to but her heart belonged to Ben and thankfully he woke up to the fact his was hers all along too. Sexy times.. lots of laughter and crazy antics still had me devouring this gem so totally it deserves 4 solid stars.
