Cami and Landon were sweet together. I loved Landon's amazing tenderness and devotion towards Cami. These two had quite a few obstacles against them over a decade ago. First being Landon being to old for Cami and then the Navy took him away. Cami marries leaving Landon to believe she's moved on but while she moved on he couldn't find anyone long term. His heart always came back to the one who got away. Cami is free, finally accepting that her marriage wasn't what a real union should be. She's even trying to hook her ex husband up with anyone she can find.  Landon is home , thankfully these two aren't jealous and can let the past remain in the past and they find there forever right in each others arms. Finally where they belong.. Together.     Some funny times along with some super sexy times keep this story moving along and then trials and struggles solidify the strength of their bond is cemented and true. My heart broke with them and healed with them. Really sweet second chance story. Can't wait for more.

When I see a new release is coming.. Well actually when I see the ideas and teasers by this author, way before release, I get super excited. I'm on pins and needles. Ever since Until November she's been one of my top #AutoRead authors for seriously devoted alpha males. While we are onto her 2nd generation of #Boom and it's still going hot and strong. I've always loved the layers of family, friendship and support all of her stories are shown. Such a vast and varied cast of characters and everyone of them have a strong and unique voice. With second chance love stories there is a very delicate balance. What reasons broke them apart? Did they still love each other? But for me it's so much more. I don't want them out sleeping with everyone but saying how much they love their ex.. Because that ain't love folks. Well have no fear because Aurora put the R back into Romance!!    Here we have a truly devoted and absolutely loyal hero and he so  melted my heart and have me back my faith in book boyfriends.       #PerfectAlpha A piece of paper didn't change the vow Evan made. While he broke her heart and pushed her away where there seemed no hope.. June really didn't move on because her heart wasn't hers anymore. Evan still owned it. Once these two knocked down some walls their sweet and Sexy romance heated up everything around them. I devoured this book and was left with a smile on my face. So many more of these Mayson family characters have stories to tell and I simply can't wait. I seriously got chills reading about Ashlyn being bossy with the huge and intimidating Harlen. There is nothing like the biggest alphas falling hard and completely for their girl.        One thing remains true and that is this author brings love from her heart and her experiences right into the fabric and soul of her stories. You'll feel the heartache and you'll feel the heaven on each page.

Walk Through Fire (Chaos #4) by Kristen Ashley @KristenAshley68

Having lived through my own brand of second chance romance, I find when I read this type of story line I tend to be harder on characters then other books. I find myself a little judgmental and with a lot less mercy. Normally my harshness is always aimed towards the hero. Why? Because it seems like he always moved on, skirt to skirt, girl to girl.. Non relationship to non relationship before he sees the one he left behind. Then I see the heroine has usually had either nobody at all or very few.. No real moving on being done at all. So yea I was a little nervous when Kristen went this route again. But she took all my preconceived and biased notions and shook them up and sprinkled them over my head and said take that! While technically that's what happened her with Logan "High" Judd and Millie Cross. . This time I couldn't place them blame anywhere but at Millie’s feet. You'd never find a more loving or cherishing hero then the 20 something Logan. He absolutely adored this down to earth girl. Three years of adoration thrown in his face. Her reasons.. Her struggle... Not shared.. She just sent him away and it destroyed him. Two decades go by and then we see her sacrifice. Twenty years late.. The wall comes down. To be honest I was pissed the hell off that Logan didn't get the chance to even fight her demons back then. But I was quickly sucked into one hell of a vortex. The gloves came off and things went a little haywire. This was one hell of a rocky, cruel and nasty.. But strangely erotic dance to get to the beauty in Walk through Fire. Because fire had to be what burned away the guilt and the rage between these too. After the smoke cleared there was an absolutely amazing hero standing and waiting to love and adore Millie exactly and actually more profoundly then ever before. Logan didn't hold grudges, he didn't punish anymore, no he LOVED hard, raw, without reservation. Millies scars stood no chance against the simple yet immensely healing love of Logan Judd. I find myself highlighting so much when I read this ladies work. This time I simply couldn't stop long enough to do that very often. I still found quite a few favorite parts of course but I found for one, Kristen Ashley is by far still the reigning queen of dialogue, a character talks and you better pay attention because every word uttered is something that can stop your heart or steal your breath. I was dizzy with those physical manifestations of wonder throughout this crazy ride. I was breathless and shaken and never wanted it to stop. I felt every emotion from swooning and all of the biker badass flowery. I felt anger and frustration over the bratty antics of Zadie and absolutely in overload of sweetness for cuddly little kitties. But must of all I felt a healing warmth all the way through my soul, being witness to a couple’s journey, struggle and rise from the ashes while they  lay the past to rest and enjoy what today brought them. To take what was forged in their fire, and brush it off, make it shine and  cherish it together ..always. That’s a real love story. Because love is forgiving and patient and kind and sacrifices. Both lived it and earned it. 10 million stars for the Queen!

This was a passionate and healing second chance love story that took me through a rainbow of emotions. True to this Author's method, she filled the pages with words of extreme depth and bone deep beauty. I was sucked in, I stayed riveted and I was left completely satisfied.  The fact that this story worked for me is true to her genius in how she portrays her characters. I usually have a hard time with second chance love stories but I had faith in Crystal because she's never let me down yet. I dove in and I happily sunk into sweet romance land.    Young and in love Lea and Austin had it all planned. A beautiful life with babies and happiness in spades. Tragedy strikes and Lea runs. . Having to say goodbye to one important person while facing all her demons Lea had to be brave. Years pass and both have tried to move on. Austin with casual relationships and Lea with a failed marriage. The one thing that remained the same was their undeniable connection and undying love. Secrets, lies and deep seated fears are fought against. Two souls trying to calm the waves and find their peace while healing all the brokenness. This was a touching and sweet second chance love story and I was overwhelmed with all the feelings it brought forth. There was humor and there was heat. But most of all love that wouldn't be beaten and hope for those that need a little light in their darkness. The emotional scenes with Lea and her mom and all the new and old friendships formed were bittersweet. I devoured this read as I always do anything this author writes.

Once Loved (Shattered Past #2) by Cecy Robson @cecyrobson

By chapter three of this book I was completely mesmerized by the side plot of Lety and her employment family . This is big for me since the romance is always what grabs me. Not this time. I fell in love with this book because of the emotions it brought out in my heart right from the start and it had nothing to do with the main couple. Lety's employment taking care of a family with a disabled father and son ..broke my heart and at the same time put it back together again. The broken man trapped by his paralysis and the wife and mom afraid to touch her child. Then the sweet eight year old boy caught inside the mind of one half his age. Total tears people! The way Lety reacted to these circumstances was graceful with empathy and sheer humanity of the purest form. Cecy blew me away in one chapter and the love story hadn't even really began yet. Brody an Lety both tried getting over each other in the year they were apart and failed miserably. There were no described scenes in their separation so I didn't have that "other woman or other man" angst in my face. The year is behind them and they are drawn together again emotions ran high right away. Lety was fighting it thinking he deserved better but Brody wasn't giving up. I love a hero that won't back down!!   After slowly revealing background surprises, twists that had my jaw dropping, I was quickly and completely sucked in. Brody was by far one amazing hero. The patient way he loved Lety filled my heart with swooning moments. Sweet and sexy their love story transcended just two people. Together they helped heal an entire family and also break the cycle of endless nightmares in another. To see Teo and Evie was beautiful. I had so many moments of bittersweet tears. Cecy has really wrote such life like characters that I just feel like I was part of their group.. On the sidelines feeling like family. Absolutely loved every moment. So ready for Sofia and Killian. Once Perfect (Shattered Past #1)

Second Chance (Running Into Love #3) by Annalisa Nicole ~ @AnnalisaNicole4

Annalisa Nicole has a way of writing that sucker punches me right to my heart. I always end up with tissues crumpled and red and puffy eyes. But this is not a BAD thing see. It's a beautiful and sentimental wonderful thing.   Adrian is the oldest brother and while he stands around watching his younger siblings enjoy and cherish their wives/husbands and children, he's alone.  Remembering the girl that got away and not only broke his heart but just completely disappeared.    Shay has harbored such guilt from that one tragic day and when these two come back together, there is no way that walls won't crumble and hearts won't heal. The love was just to strong to keep those barriers in place. One amazing scene nearly caused  kindle  combustion. The passion between these two was seventeen years overdue and BAM!     Adrian was so real and such a man, in so many ways he just seemed so amazing in how he cared for Shay.     Shay loved not only Adrian but she had so much love in her heart that she took the responsibility of so many things on her shoulders. I really felt like she was an amazing and extraordinary character.  I laughed, cried and rooted with them and for them. I enjoyed this book just like the previous ones and can't wait for both Ava and Jax's story and to finally see Chloe and Max get their crap together. This author is just one I want to tuck into my pocket and keep for my happy place.  Her stories are layered in so many meaningful lessons. The experiences the characters go through drill home the meaning of  LOVE , FAMILY and FORGIVENESS.  I'm always left with the most peaceful feeling in my heart and I immediately want to reach out to my loved ones and hug them close. If you love romance with sweet lessons and sizzling chemistry then Annalisa Nicole is a must read author.  Copy provided for honest review.
