The narrator did a fantastic job. Inflection, tone and emotion came through great. The different voices of the many different characters was amazing.

The trauma that both Matthew and Eden lived through was something out of your worst nightmare.
The evil that exists in the world back then was portrayed in a terrifying way.
The Sebastian Brothers were evil personified.
Matthew had to show such bravery and perseverance. Eden lived through something that would normally break the strongest man. She had steel running through her veins.
I normally have a hard time with widower stories as I feel the hero doesn't let go and give the heroine a real chance to show their love is just as important. Matthew did struggle yet the way that these two fell into an amazing friendship first proved that love can bloom and grow anywhere.

That if you open a window in your heart, the light of love will fill all the cracks and spaces yet the people who live there aren't gone. They just live among the memories and in the new light of love.

This was beautiful, this was suspenseful and this was just everything I love in a romance.
Again Catherine Anderson proves she's a queen.

Wow I love post apocalypse stories. This felt like I was in this world with Laura and Ronan. So much suspense and excitement. There was some parts that had my heart beating out of my chest. Then there were some heart wrenching scenes that had tears welling. But the best was how these two fell in love and wasn't afraid of it.  Ronan wasn't shying away from his feelings (first he had to acknowledge that he had feelings when "Bots" weren't supposed to) he was pretty sweet and sexy. 🔥 💞💗 Then there was humor.. A robot with a funny side?  “Smart ass.”  “My ass is, at best,  of average intelligence.” Sign me up! 💞  I adored that there wasn't any unnecessary issues like other women drama or anything like that. I loved that Ronan saw purpose in simply loving Laura. Humanity isn't just beating hearts. It's compassion, empathy and cherishing those you care about. Ronan was more human than some who had all the necessary parts.. I can't wait to see how this series progresses. *This was an audible escape version. Unabridged and the two narrators were amazing. The inflection and tone in the various characters were spot on. Oh wow. I started this as my last challenge read of 2019 but with life's time restrictions I didn't get to finish it till today. I'm glad I pushed through. I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and have Jack a chance. After Charmaine left the picture he was all in. He even knew it before he acted. He knew it before Mel even noticed him as a man.  Mel was strong even in her weakness. Trying to move on but not actually move on in an important way was just hard. Living life for everyone else well it can drain you. Jack saw something in Mel she didn't think was possible. Future, hope, love and life. He didn't give up. ✨ 🌟 ✨ 🌟   HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ME  🔥  My first read I finished this year was great. I have had a rough time finding time to physically read in 2019. I mostly had audio books. Sarah started this year off great.      I loved the sexy sweetness of this sassy yet suspenseful read. Tammy and Jake met 2 yrs prior and he's never forgotten her. When she is in trouble he steps in and there's no going back. This is one really enjoyable read that is smooth reading, no angst from the relationship and a perfect hero.      Checked all my boxes.   🌺 🌻 🌼 🌷

Brynne says it best when she said Jarvis was a  deeply interesting character that so many people needed his story. What she doesn't know is I never believed for one second she could top my favorite Brynne Asher hero. Tony Carpino will be one of my top 5 book boyfriends forever. Yet he just got passed by Noah Jarvis and I'm not even sad.  See I need to absolutely 100% believe in my heroes devotion and when an author can prove it on every page, well then they just have my heart. I am hooked and I can't deny that I lost sleep reading this book. That says a lot because with my life I only get 4 to 5 hrs already. Noah Jarvis was just that mesmerising. He really seduced my senses. Yes I was totally convinced he's perfect hero material indeed.  Grace is so full of life and love. Giving this girl a guy who'd stop time, space, bullets or anything , well , yea she deserves that like no other. There's so many secrets, so many pages of pure magic here that I won't even give any details. I'll say  if you want romance that's a speeding bullet in slow motion.. Yea that's this story. These too took off fast like a rocket yet when it counted it slowed and if breathed and it's beautiful. Because the details are everywhere in pure vivid color. I can't leave out all my favorite characters. Brynne you add humor at the right times and the beauty that comes from friends and family it has a way of warming my soul. I even wanted to hug Harry again.  Now.. I'm gonna get pushy.. I need a story asap...Maybe a bossy Brit and that special someone who showed a mysterious side and seems he's solid steel but sorta lives behind the scenes  a total enigma ? Kinda know who I'm talking about? Right now. Pronto. Ok sorry..But I can't help it!
