Tessa Bailey you have swept me off my feet once again. Its so funny how one moment Ben had me swooning then the next I wanted to shake him. Before I could stew in my anger he had my heart fluttering again with his adorable and at the same time hot and dirty thoughts.    I'm a sucker for professor/student romances when the ages are appropriate and this sexy and romantic tale fit my needs perfectly. Ben definitely won the award for best redemption and groveling I've read in a super long time. I really adored how much attention Ben paid to even the finest details of Honey's likes.. loves and important dreams. He really was a great guy. His way of making up just won me over for good. I think because he did it in such an over the top cave man way is why it worked so well.    Honey was a feisty and brave southern girl. I loved her imagination and her drive to succeed not only in life but in love. She wasn't a doormat though and gave Ben the room to man up. This was the perfect balance of angst to romance.. and loved how it set up the set up for Russell and Abby coming soon. Tessa keep those fingers busy and the stories coming.. can't wait for more.

Play of Light by Debra Doxer - @debradoxer

Some books keep you smiling and leave you warm. Some make you cry and laugh and even both at the same time. Then there are stories that whisk you away and you come back changed and look around feeling a sense of melancholy because nobody around you is feeling the same way. But you are undeniably changed.    Debra Doxer is a master at not just writing a story. She writes a journey. An adventure through every heartfelt emotion. From the first crush to the first heartbreak. From lust to love and back again. I just traveled through a beautiful love story. I felt so many things for this couple. I cried tears of pain with them and healing. I am so full right now of hope and romance that I could sigh.     Spencer took my heart on a thrilling ride as I felt everything Sarah felt for him and with him. I wanted to save him and Sarah too. Spencer was 100% perfect sweet-alpha approved.   From the moments on the beach to rooftop secrets. I was overwhelmed with beauty and with a deep feeling of kinship.Like Debra took my hand and introduced me to these characters in person. Every single trial they went through I felt.      Debra handled gracefully and with utmost care the situation with Nate and I respect her so much for that one area in this book. No games were played and lies told. These were purely honest characters dealing with Fate's crappy hand they were dealt. But when time for their chance to feel all the joy they deserved came due. Debra dealt them a winning hand.    Beautifully written with passion and healing. I have no more words.

Walled (The Line #2) by Anne Tibbets - @WriteforCoffee

My  review can be seen here   from Carrier (The Line #1) and it  will tell you how much I loved this world that Anne Tibbets has created and engraved into my heart. I was so excited when the new installment was offered and I dove at the chance to review for the Walled Blog Tour. I wanted more of Naya and Ric and wanted more of the cast of brave and quirky characters that she penned life right into. I was so not disappointed!  I'm telling you that from the moment that Walled began I was sucked right back into a world of such despair but such hope at the same time living right under neath that layer of anguish and hopelessness. How did Anne carry off such a feet? She gave us the Carrier ..yea I never saw Naya as that kind of carrier, the one with the special inoculation. I saw Naya as the Carrier of  HOPE , FAITH and so much STRENGTH & especially  TRUTH  Yes she gave me HOPESTRENGTH. She had this in spades.  FAITH, While at times she faltered, she never really gave up and never wanted to just let they chaos reign.  She wanted to believe in HUMANITY again. TRUTH for everyone to stop lying and hiding behind walls and rules and dictatorship. I found she was a heroine that was so special that  I actually wanted to be like her.  In my books 99% of the time, I'm swept away by the HERO ..but in this series by far Naya was truly the saving grace.  What was I saying about my HEROES?  Ric "Doc" was a true HERO because in everything he did he was so HUMAN and I completely and utterly ADORED this man. I am telling you that I wanted to jump through my Kindle and carry him away ..he was that amazing. He wasn't perfect, he wasn't always the strongest but he was REAL and FLAWED like real MEN are. I truly think Anne Tibbets has a direct line to a mans thoughts because she couldn't have written him more honestly and real then she did.  Do I love romance?? HELL YES, did this have a love story? OMG YES!! But it was so much more than that. It was about survival and bravery right along with staying loyal to the ones that love you and you love in return. It was about Family! Ric never gave up on Naya even when she doubted herself. They had so much to overcome ..her past, their future, oh gosh so much. But they did and every single page left me in AWE And WONDER. Everybody knows I love my sizzling romances. But the love scenes that take my breath away are the ones that take two people and make them one. Naya and Ric had such a profound union that I was left with tears in my eyes and a since of peace in my heart. It truly was an epic scene.   I was floored so many times and shocked others. I had moments of bawling like a freaking baby. Not always was it over sad things. Yes there was devastation, but I cried over things that we take for granted every single day that God graces us on this planet to live FREE when others aren't able to do so and don't have simple luxuries that we just don't even bat an eye at. I cried, I laughed a few times but most of all I HOPED and felt like I FOUGHT right along with this amazing, extraordinary and REAL cast of characters.  YOU have to read this, it's just hat good!! Anne...standing ovation..you are my HERO!!

Pretty Wicked by Georgia Le Carre - @GeorgiaLeCarre

Oh my girl Georgia just knows what to give me to make me happy. Every single time she puts a smile on my face. When I start a romance by Georgia Le Carre, I know that she isn’t going to give me rainbows and butterflies. She’s gonna give me a love story that has layers. Those layers are sometimes painful as they are beautiful. I adore how she seamlessly goes from angst to beauty and back again. But most of all I adore her heroes. They are flawed but yet they are amazingly real in their brokenness. I always find myself forgiving her heroes in ways I normally can’t. Probably because they always fall so hard.    What we have in this short sexy romance is a story of redemption and love that is discovered looking under the first layer of skin. Miko has come to claim what he lost and Sky never stands a chance. Although she is now hiding under this pretty polished new exterior, Miko knows the real woman underneath and he’s not out for the beautiful shell that she is showing off, no Miko wants the shining star that Sky was back on that broken day in high school. Passions run high and feelings can’t be denied.  Finding the true person inside and pulling down all the walls that are put up by society’s view on what is lovely. It was steamy and it had a suspenseful under current that added to the sexy vibe. I read this in one setting and immediately wanted more.  Georgia until you bring me more, thank you for a sexy romantic read.

If you are familiar with the Corps Security series then like every other reader out there we’ve been anxiously awaiting Maddox Locke’s story.  Brooding, temperamental, moody  Maddox Locke set hearts beating like crazy from the moment he was introduced in this series.  From his painful past that we all wanted to know about to his big heart that he couldn’t hide. This guy is one character that burrowed under my skin and I just wanted to see him find happiness so badly. Emmy was a surprise. What we thought as this little meek and mild sweet girl was a feisty woman who had battled demons nobody should have to encounter in such a young life. The tragedy that drove Emmy away pushed her right back into her nightmare. Maddox wasn’t going to stand by any longer and he was set out to get Emmy and bring her home. What transpires is a story of passion, healing and trust. Maddox had to accept that Emmy was the one person that loved him scars and all.   These two souls belonged together and although there were so many obstacles that wanted to keep them apart true love would not be denied.  The entire cast was involved and there were the normal humor and excitement. The one thing about this series that captured my heart and thousands of hearts around the world was the unique and loving family of misfits . Each Hero this author created and their loved ones have etched themselves into our hearts and our minds and will make this one series that will always be special and a favorite of so many readers. The next generation of the Corps Security kids are coming and I just can’t wait.

Masquerade by Georgia Le Carre - @GeorgiaLeCarre

Georgia Le Carre just blew my freaking head off.  Like over the top,   take me for a ride..right to the edge of my boundaries going to push me off a cliff and yanked me back blew my mother freaking head off. I am so in love with this lady. She doesn’t have a clue how bad I’m crushing right now. When my girl Cariad told me about The Billionaire Banker Series and I discovered Blake Barrington. I decided he  will always my Beast ..and Lana my Beauty. But oh my gosh Jaron Rose and Billie Black are like Sleeping Beauty in EROTICA..on steroids!! Why did I pick this analogy? Because there is no doubt in my mind that Billie has been living in a dream like state her entire life…living out fantasies on other women.. that she hungered to be done to her   but by an amazing and passionate dominant man.  She just hadn't found him yet. What she found in Jaron blew her world apart. He was bossy, sexy, dominant and 100% alpha male perefection.    He turned her total world upside down and inside out. One spectacular night connected these two only like soul mates could. He woke up Billie and everything that came afterwards was a mysterious seduction of the senses and a complete and total domination of the heart. When I say that this book was HOT I mean freaking HELL on WHEELS HOT!  Hand's down Jaron Rose takes the Hottest Dirtiest Filthiest Sex and Talk Scenes EVER!!! Georgia has this way about her writing that she can push you, pull you and take you for this epic ride. You come up against walls and boundaries that you'd never even think to cross before. I found myself on the precipice so many times. Scared, Terrified.  I'd get to a point where I was like screaming and holding my breath.  So trying to trust my Georgia and not freak out.  Things happened that brought me almost to my knees.  Times where I was frozen! Then suddenly I could breath because I should have known that Georgia had my back.  and then the  freaking sex scenes would come about again ..oh hell  A HOT Blazing Sizzling romance at it’s finest with the most beautiful ending that I still have the tracks of tears running down my face. Georgia, your pen it slays me it captures me and it snares me forever and any day my imagination is your playground and you can come here to plant the seeds where your larger than life heroes can grab hold of my heart and never let me go. I simply can’t ever put into words what your books do to me. You want a ride that takes you over a cliff into the unknown where you can’t fathom how you’ll make it..but suddenly out of know were my Georgia she saves me and pushes me back safe and sound in a sweet and epic love story of one amazing Hero and his fiery feisty Heroine. I’m floored.
